Show Information

ENTRIES CLOSE: Thursday 17th April 2025 at Midday (unless entries are full prior to the closing date). Late entries will be accepted at an additional £2 extra per class and if there is availability.

 

BS & BE registered horses are not permitted to compete in this event.

Payment Details & Event Fees

All entries must be done online as no entries will be accepted on the day, with the exception of Class 15 - Hobby horse stadium.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Solihull Riding Club. You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Prize Information

Rosettes 1st to 10th place and prizes - Novelty Classes

Rosettes 1st to 6th place and prizes - Showjumping classes

Withdrawals/Refunds

Refunds: No refunds will be made after the closing date and No transfers will be made after the release of the times. THIS RULE WILL BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO.

Any refunds are subject to a 10% admin fee + £1.50 initial booking fee. If entries are transfered prior to the release of times, we require 24hr notice, and this can only be done once.

In the event that the venue cancels, full refunds will be given minus £1.50 booking fee. In the event the venue reschedules to another date refunds willl be given at the organisers discretion.

Terms & Conditions

NO BS/BE REGISTERED HORSES/PONIES ARE PERMITTED AT THIS EVENT. General Rules: HATS must be worn whenever mounted. ONLY Jockey skull hats without a peak (greater than 5mm smooth and rounded in nature) may be worn for cross country. Hat silks may be worn with flexible peak. It must also comply with the above safety standards for hats. BODY PROTECTORS A body protector is obligatory for all arena eventing and cross country events and are also strongly recommended for all show jumping events. A BETA Level 3 2009 (Purple label) or 2018 (Blue label) must be worn. Body protectors should be fitted and worn as per the manufacturer’s instructions. If a rider chooses to wear an airbag style body protector it must be worn over a permitted body protector and if activated, must be deflated or removed before continuing. Hybrid Air jackets and Helite Air Jackets are permitted. It is recommended that body protectors are replaced once they are more than 5 years old. Riders wearing Exo Body Cage protectors must inform the secretary at all events. CORRECT dress & footwear with defined heels must be worn. Long hair is to be suitably tied up. ALL horses and ponies must be four years old and over. ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The Judge’s decision is final. INSURANCE Each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club, Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD, BE or independent cover. HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Those attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event. Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers. Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY save for the death or injury caused by the negligence of the organisers of the event, no liability is accepted for any accident, loss or damage, injury or illness to horses, ponies, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever.
