Rule 316. Horses (or ponies in pony competitions) may compete in one section only. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 Entry qualifications: to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. Club Members are NOT eligible.a) For horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 125 points. Four Double Clears will qualify - in accordance with Rule 316.6.b) For all horses born on or after 1 January 2021 irrespective of points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of four years or under in the same calendar year as the Senior British Novice Championship Final - in accordance with Rule 316.6. Rule 102.16, British Showjumping Hind Boot rule for Boots / Leg Protection applies to this class. Qualifies for: Senior British Novice Championship - Second Round.Qualifying period: 1st May - 30th April inclusive.Numbers to qualify: Those horses which jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four Senior British Novice Championship - First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the Senior British Novice Championship - Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A rules (Rule 191). Horses in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain a double clear round qualification. If combined with an open:In Category 1 Shows and in the event of 30 starters or more the Open and the British Novice section will be split with two sets of prize money awarded.In Category 2 Shows the sections must always be split with two sets of prize money awarded, irrespective of starters. Rule 317. In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 Entry qualifications: Registered horses that have qualified to compete by jumping double clear rounds in at least four Senior British Novice Championship - First Round Competitions in accordance with Rule 316.6 to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members. Riders who have ever competed as a team member of any Senior International Team (4* or 5* Nations Cup in the last 10 years, World, European Championships & Olympic Games) are not eligible. There will be 12 Second Round competitions (subject to revision). Qualified horses are eligible to enter and compete in as many Second Rounds as the owner wishes.Qualifies for: Senior British Novice Championship Final at the British Showjumping National Championships.Numbers to qualify for: One horse with up to 25 starters. Two horses with 26-50 starters. Three horses with 51 or more starters. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 312.6(b) For all horses born on or after 1st January 2019, irrespective of Points. Horses will only be eligible for double clear qualification to Second Rounds if they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the Senior Newcomers Championship Final - in accordance with Rule 312.6. Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Newcomers Championship - Second Rounds. Qualifying period: 1st May to 30th April(subject to revision). In the event of insufficient entries lower prizes will be withheld. Rule - 76.6 Open to registered horses to be ridden by Adult, Associate or Junior Members who are not listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2024. Those riders not listed on the British Showjumping Gold League as of 31st March 2024 will be eligible to qualify for the National 1.15m Members Cup Final. Qualification criteria apply to both sections. Qualifies for: British Showjumping National Championships. Qualification period: 1st June-31st May. Numbers to qualify: Two double clears (subject to revision). Qualification is horse/rider combination. Pre-Entry

Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 310.6(b) For all registered horses born on or after 1 January 2018, irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for double clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of seven years or under in the same calendar year as the Senior Foxhunter Final - in accordance with rule 310.6 Four double clears will qualify.Four double clears will qualify for the Senior Foxhunter Second Rounds. All classes are PRE ENTRY ONLY. ENTRIES WILL CLOSE AT 1.00PM THE DAY BEFORE THE SHOW OR EARLIER SHOULD CLASSES FILL.

Withdrawals/Refunds

Affiliated shows are required to repay 50 % of the entry fees in respect of all entry cancellations which are received by the Show Organiser not later than 48 hours before noon of the day on which the first affiliated competition of the show is scheduled to start except in those circumstances outlined in Rule 79.5.
