Educating Minds of Dressage Riders, Judges & Coaches Workshop

Throughout my many years of dressage riding, judging and coaching there seems to be a large gap between the communication and language used between dressage riding and dressage judging especially at the lower levels.  The aim of the day is to educate riders, judges and coaches minds to help close that gap and create a better connection, understanding and partnership between all.  We welcome riders, judges & coaches of all levels and ages, who are interested in learning more about dressage and the connection between judges terminology and marks awarded.  Interactive workshop designed to promote a positive learning environment, which will encourage individual and group participation, discussions and to build confidence.  

The day will include coffee & cake, lunch and a hot/cold drink (sadly own food & drinks are now allowed) any allergies or intolerances must be declared on your booking form

Timetable 

9.30am Welcome coffee & cake

10am - Classroom based discussion on the importance of correct Way of Going & Scales on Training

10.45am - Horse 1, Prelim level (analysis and findings, open discussion)

11.30am - Horse 2, Prelim Level (as above)

12.15pm - Horse 3, Novice Level (as above)

1pm - Break for lunch

2pm -  Horse 4, Novice level (as above)

2.45pm - Horse 5, Elementary level (as above)

3.30pm - Horse 6, Elementary Level (as above)

4.15pm  - Final thoughts & conclusion. 

Under 16’s must be accompanied by a paying adult, you may want to take advantage of our family discount ticket (1 adult & 1 child)

Please bring your clipboards/work folder & pens.  This is a classroom based workshop with viewing area overlooking the arena.  Please Note: Part recording will take place during this workshop and used for future training & educational purposes, no faces, names or under 16’s will be featured.

Family Ticket: £120 (1 Under 16 & 1 accompanying adult)

Cancellation Policy: If JJ Rose Events / Claire Marie Senior / Manor Grange Stud cancels the event a full refund (minus a service fee charge of £5 per booking/ticket) will be given or an alternative will be offered. In the event of cancellation JJ Rose Events / Claire Marie Senior / Manor Grange Stud is not responsible for non-refundable airfares, other airfare penalties, travel charges or accommodation charges or any other charges that might be incurred. Tickets are non-transferable and no refunds will be given to those who choose not to attend the event. Substitutions will be accepted at no extra charge. Cancellations and changes must be made in writing.
