This show will run outside in Fred Arena and in the Indoor Arena.     Please enter early as we are limited on daylight.  All arenas are surface arenas.  Horses/ponies can be ridden astride or side saddle in all ridden classes.  Outside medical company first aid/paramedic cover:  £5 per rider. 

 

Due to daylight restraints there will be no stripping or judge riding at this show.

Lead rein allowed in 40cm and 50cm section. Horse/rider combination will enter the arena individually to jump the course of fences followed by a short show including a change of rein and gallop then finish and leave the arena. All clear round combinations come back in the arena for the rosette presentation. 1 METHOD OF JUDGING: Horse/pony will be required to jump a course of fences, they will immediately be asked to give a short show including a change of rein and gallop in the same ring. MARKS: Jumping 60 points Style and Manners while jumping: 20 points. Show Mark and Manners: 20 Points. Total: 100 points. Judges may record constructive comments on the mark sheets. All entries in advance so individual times can be given. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Brendon Pyecombe.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

£5 per rider first aid charge. 

Prize Information

Rosettes 1st – 6th in each class. 

Refreshments:

 Cafe open on site all day for hot and cold food and drinks.

Withdrawals/Refunds

 Entries withdrawn via email before 9am Thursday - 100% refund.  

No refunds for entries withdrawn after 9am Thursday. 

Terms & Conditions

Cantering in individual show optional.

Lead Rein classes are suitable for disabled competitors who are most welcome.

If insufficient entries some classes may be amalgamated.

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS TO OUR STANDARD BRENDON PYECOMBE SHOWS TERMS & CONDITIONS:

 This Show is Unaffiliated and please respect judges decision is final.          

No Lunging allowed anywhere on the showground.

No horses/ponies to be tied up to the outside of horseboxes/trailers and must not be left unattended tied to a horse box in the Lorry Park.

Only Horses/ponies competing are allowed to use the Warm up arena/s.

Please do not skip out lorries onto the car park, please take your droppings home with you.

All dogs must be kept leads and are not allowed in the surface arenas.

Correct British Standard Headgear must be worn all times when mounted.

 

 

Working Hunter Training Stakes METHOD OF JUDGING.

Horses/ponies will be required to jump a course of fences, they will immediately be asked to give a short show including a change of rein and gallop in the same ring.

MARKS:

Jumping 60 points

Style and Manners while jumping: 20 points.

Show Mark and Manners: 20 Points.

Total: 100 points.   Judges may record constructive comments on the mark sheets.   Ponies may be on the lead rein in the 40cm and 50cm sections.  Any suitable tack allowed.
