You agree that the information you have provided in connection with your entry will be disclosed to British Eventing.
Should you receive an injury as the direct result of an accident occuring whilst you are participating in any event organised by an affiliated event organiser, any medical reports relating to your condition will be passed to British Eventing. Any medical reports passed to British Eventing will be held on your records and passed in confidence to the UK Transport Research Lab for the purposes of safety analyses.
The competitor confirms that they have appropriate third-party insurance cover in place for the day of the competition for which they are entering.
The competitor agrees to comply with all the relevant BE rules as detailed in the BE Rules and Members' handbook , including those relating to vaccinations & BEFAR (BEF Anti-Doping Rules).
The minimum* refund policy should the event abandon, as defined in Rule 4.11.1 in the BE Rules and Members' handbook the BE Handbook is as follows:
• Stage 1 - Before Ballot Date - Full refund.
• Stage 2 - Between Ballot Date to 14 days prior to the start date of the competition –50% refund of entry fees.
• Stage 3 - Between 6 to 13 days prior to the event start date –30% refund of entry fees.
• Stage 4 - Between 5 days of the event starting and 17:00 the afternoon before - 15% refund of entry fees.
• Stage 5 – From 17:00 the afternoon before the event day in question - 0% of refund of entry fees.
• Starting Fees and Anti-Doping Fees are always refunded in full unless the competitor has started the dressage phase, in which case no refund is applicable.
*The Event is free to offer a different refund policy, subject to the minimum refunds stated above. The Event’s refund policy published at the time an entry is submitted will apply (subject to the minimum refund policy) therefore you should ensure you have read the Event schedule before submitting your entry.
2 Any objection must be made within 15 minutes of completion of class, and accompanied with a £20 deposit.
3 The organisers reserve the right to amalgamate or cancel any classes if there are insufficient entries
4 Horses/ponies must be 4 years old or older.
5 Photography - By entry to this competition competitors agree to being photographed by the Official Photographer. These pictures may be used by BEDE Events and their sponsors for promotion of the event and the class.
6 Please note the protective headwear that is worn must be up to date with the new 2023 regulations, PAS 015 MUST BE 2011 and SNELL MUST BE 2016. All hats need to have a 2023 Pink BE, PC or RC tag.
The Organisers wish to thank all the volunteers and helpers who have supported this event. Without their assistance, there would be no event and competitors should remember their generosity when speaking to jump judges and stewards. The committee wish all the helpers, spectators and competitors a successful and enjoyable day.
LEGAL LIABILITY. Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses ,owners, riders, spectators ,land, cars their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
HEALTH AND SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all officials and stewards.
