Show Information

All classes open to everyone and limited fillers under the fences until the 80cm and above classes 

Nice simple courses, no one or two strided doubles.

Ideal opportunity for young horses or riders wanting to start their competitive journeys – friendly and relaxing atmosphere to support riders needing to build their confidence and to have fun jumping away from home
Exact rules to be released via Facebook page on the day.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Pre-entries preferred, entries will be based on a first come first served basis. Entries on the day will be accepted in cash on a first come first serve basis and will incur and extra £2 charge.
Times will be pre-allocated on a drawn order basis allowing for multiple horse riders
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Boyton Hall. You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

Prize Information

Results will be announced at the end of each class and sashes and rosettes for 1-6th 

Mounted prize giving and lap of honour.

Withdrawals/Refunds

Withdrawal and Refund Policy

The following policy applies to all competitors that wish to withdraw from any Boyton Hall event.  

Withdrawals need to be made in writing via the Boyton Hall email address info@boytonhall.me Withdraws will not be accepted if sent by text, WhatsApp, voice call/mail, Facebook

Entries can be carried over to future events, but no refunds will be issued due to withdrawal.

Our withdrawal policy is the same for all competitors and covers all reasons why a competitor may withdraw from an event.  

Terms & Conditions

WARM UP / COMPETITION ARENA

In the interest of safety, we ask that you limit the number of people on foot in the warm up arena at anyone time.  Children under 16 years are not allowed in the warmup unless riding.
Please, no more than 7 horses in the warm-up at any one time, and only riders and horses who are warming up should be in the warmup, no riders sat on or holding a stationary horse will be allowed to linger in the warm-up.

There is no lunging facility at this venue.

All stallions must be kept under control at all times & not handled by anyone under 14 years. All stallions must have red/white/blue ribbon in tail.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Boyton Hall Limited has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents occurring & must obey the instructions of the show organiser Boyton Hall arena representatives whether written or verbal, prior to or on the day of the event. 

Boyton Hall Limited shall not be liable for any claim in respect of damage, loss, injury or accident to any person, horse or property however caused. It shall be deemed a condition of entry that each entrant has read and understood these terms and conditions and shall indemnify Boyton Hall Limited or any person acting on their behalf against any legal action arising from such an incident. 

Claims for negligence against the organisers must be submitted in writing on the day of competition. 

The judge’s and organisers decision is final.  Any objections must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes of the incident and supported by a £25 deposit, which will be returned if the objection is upheld.

Riders are expected to conform with all BS, BE and BD and riding club hat safety requirements.  They must be worn & correctly secured whilst mounted. It is recommended that riders wear a body protector, but it is not Body protectors MUST be worn whilst competing on cross country

The welfare and health of all horses attending any event is paramount.  Any horse deemed to be sick or injured in any way will be immediately eliminated and the owner shall be asked to remove the horse from the venue.  All horses must be no younger than 4 years old. 

Lorries/trailers must not be mucked out onto car park. Please place droppings, hay etc into Wheelbarrow provided.

No bicycles or motorcycles, except disabled scooters, anywhere on site.

All dogs must be kept on leads and all dog mess cleaned up. Dogs deemed to be causing annoyance (i.e., excessive barking) will be asked to leave.  No ball games permitted at any time.

No fires or barbeques at any time on the premises

All children under the age of 16 years must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Drivers of cars that are not attached to a trailer may be asked to park somewhere other than the main Trailer and Lorry Park.  In such cases drivers will be asked to move their vehicles.

All rubbish/litter to be removed from site or placed in bins provided within refreshment area.

In the event of any rider travelling to a show on their own, details of a contact should be left with the secretary in case of an accident.

The organiser reserves the right to ask any person in breach of these terms and conditions, to leave the venue immediately. 

The organiser reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions should the need arise.
