Entries shut the day before the show at 9am and times will be released the day before the show by 3pm. As the health and safety of all visitors is paramount please ensure that you have read the below information as you will be asked to comply with these guidelines during the course of your visit. Bury Farm reserves the right to ask competitors to leave the centre if any of the below guidelines are breached.
In line with biosecurity measures please have your passports available for inspection upon arrival at the centre. Horses must have up-to-date vaccinations and the organisers reserve the right to turn horses away from the competition if proof of vaccination records cannot be presented upon arrival.
Payment Details & Event Fees
Entries for Bury Farm shows must be made online via the event link on the Events Tab of the Bury Farm website, www.buryfarmequestrianvillage.co.uk. Entries will not be accepted after the closing date unless space allows. Once submitted entries may be changed prior to the times being published by contacting ashlie@buryfarmestates.co.uk with entry changes.

Stabling Information: Yes
Stables: £50 for one night, £75 for two nights, £100 for three nights or more. Hook Up is available at £25 per night. A £15 stable deposit is charged per stable for any bookings made at the centre. This £15 charge is refundable when you vacate your stable at the end of your booking. The £15 deposit will be returned to you as soon as the stable manager confirms that your stable has been left in a suitable condition, i.e. clean, swept, dry and free from excess hay and droppings. The £15 will not be returned after you have left the show centre and so it is your responsibility to confirm your departure with the stable manager and to request your £15 deposit whilst at the centre. The deposit will only be returned to the person who is named on the booking form for the show. The stable manager retains the right to refuse the return of a stable deposit if the above conditions are not met. Hay and shavings can be purchased on site during the show with the Stable Manager. Shavings can be purchased on site for £11 per bale. Shavings must be used in our permanent concrete and wooden stables. Competitors are welcome to bring their own shavings. Hay may be purchased for £3 per slice (or the equivalent of a full haynet.) We do not sell any Haylage. Taps are provided in stabling areas for filling water buckets. Bury Farm does not have a specific wash down area. We therefore request that competitors do not wash horses down in areas where competitor footfall is high to maintain suitable health and safety protocols.
Competitors who win prize money will be contacted via email to obtain their bank account details. Upon receipt of competitor bank details Bury Farm will pay prize money within 10 working days.
The Paddocks Cafe team will provide a service on the day of competiton and will be offering hot and cold food, drinks and snacks throughout the show hours.
Refunds and transfers to future shows will not be issued after times have been published. A transfer of entries may be considered if the competitor emails ashlie@buryfarmestates.co.uk prior to the show times being published. Bury Farm will issue refunds for entries in line with British Showjumping rules. Bury Farm reserves the right to charge an administration fee for any refund or transfer of entries. All Bury Farm show jumping shows are run under British Showjumping rules. A 50% refund will be offered to those who withdraw from a competition more than 48 hours prior to the start of the event. A 50% refund less an administration fee may be offered to competitors who withdraw from a competition less than 48 hours prior to the start of the event . This refund will be offered at the discretion of the organiser. The above rules also apply to stabling.
On the day of the competition Competitors will be provided with a flatwork arena for warm up prior to their class time. A maximim of 4 competitors will be allowed in any warm up spaces at any given time. A collecting ring steward will call each competitors to the Competition Arena at their alloted time. The competitor must enter and leave the arena via the designated entrance and exit as directed by the collecting ring steward. Competitors may not access any other arena or farm track after their class has finished. Results from each class will be announced by the judge via the arena loudspeaker system after the class has finished. Results will not be printed and competitors will not be able to view results on Bury Farm noticeboards. Results will be published online via the Bury Farm website show link within 24 hours of the show's completion. Results will also be available via the BS website. Competitors who win prize money will be contacted via email to obtain their bank account details. Upon receipt of competitor bank details Bury Farm will pay prize money within 10 working days. The show mobile will be available for competitors to contact on the day of competition - 07568 395548. Please use hand sanitiser and wash hands regularly during your visit to the centre. Toilets will be available for use in the International show centre. The Paddocks cafe team will be serving food and drink. Competitors may not access the livery facilities during their visit to the centre. By entering this Show, competitors and helpers agree to comply with all Bury Farm guidelines which have been set up at the centre for the health and well-being Our agreed onsite partner SBM Photographic will provide a photographic service at selected Bury Farm shows, complying with GDPR guidelines. Some large Bury Farm events are live streamed by H&C TV and by Clip My Horse TV under the guidance of equine media services policies. BIOSECURITY MEASURES All horses must be travelled with passports which can demonstrate that all vaccinations are up to date (Bury Farm operates a 12-month vaccination policy) Horses must also show no clinical signs of the following when attending the centre: - recent cough of unknown cause
- recent nasal discharge of unknown cause
- enlarged lymph nodes
- fever (>38.5 degrees)
- recent onset of neurological signs of unknown cause
- diarrhoea
Horses must also - not be under current investigation for EHV infection
- have not been in contact with and is not kept on the same premises as a horse known to have or be under investigation for EHV
- have not travelled out of the country for the past 28 days.
Horses should NOT be brought to the centre if they are not in good health on the date of travel. 1. The decision of the judges & stewards in all cases is final. They reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel any part of the competition or to refuse any entry without stating a reason. 2. The organiser of this event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health, safety and welfare of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring, and must obey instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards. 3. The organisers will not be held responsible and accept no liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, rider, spectators, vehicles or their contents and accessories, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. It is a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify against any legal action arising from such incident. 4. All competitors must be suitably dressed in correct riding attire to current British Safety Standards. Riding / Jodhpur boots must be worn for all classes. 5. Horses & ponies tied to lorry or trailers must not be left unattended. 6. Please ensure the area around your horsebox / trailer is clean and tidy. Droppings collected and not swept onto or left on BFEC. Please take litter home or use the bins provided. 7. Children must be supervised at all times 8. Whilst outside arenas, horses and ponies should be moved at a walk only. 9. No dogs allowed, other than in Lorry Park Only and MUST be on a lead at all times
