The gallops @MoorPlace were installed in January 2002 by Parkway Synthetic Surfaces at the instruction of the Hamilton-Fairley family to whom we are all grateful. The gallops are 6 ½ furlongs and are continuous which means they may be used in either direction. They have a waxed rubber surface (Eurotrack Vaseline) to the depth of 6” provided usable in all conditions except heavy snow.

Please note that the stable barn and other adjoining facilities are occupied by new Owners, the Rietdyk family. Please respect our privacy and do not enter the barn or walk around the school or the horse walker. Keep noise to a minimum whilst you are on the gallop and inform a member of yard staff if you intend to use the crow’s nest as this can scare horses that might be on the walker or in the school.
