Timings: Class times will be made available with bridle numbers on the evening of Thursday 23rd January  All times are approximate and may be subject to change. No paper numbers will be given. You must wear your own bridle or bib numbers, these MUST be  displayed  and you will be called for your round in order. Course walk will be approximately 10-15 minutes before the start of the class.

Show Information

Entries: Close of entries is Thursday midday before the event. We reserve the right to close entries earlier if classes become full. After close of entries no further entries will be accepted. Bib or bridle number MUST be worn.
Competitors will jump a course of 8 show jumps immediately followed by 10-12 cross country fences and will finish with the last fence as a show jump, the joker fence (this is not optional). The joker fence will be approximately 10cm higher than the rest of the course, if you knock the Joker fence down you will incur 6 penalties.

Horses must be at least 132cms in height to compete in 70cm, 80cm and 90cm classes and at least 142 cm in height to compete in 100cm classes.
Horses 4 years of age and above may compete in AE80 classes, but 4 year old horses may only compete in a maximum of 4 classes throughout the 2023/24 Arena Eventing series.
Horses must be 5 years of age and above to compete in AE90, AE90, AE100 and AE100Open classes. Horses must be Grade IV to compete in AE80, AE90 and AE100 classes. Riders who have completed an Advanced, 3*, 4* or 5* competition prior to time of entry in the current season, or in the two immediately previous seasons, and horses who have BE Grading Points, may only take part in the AE90Open and BE100Open classes.
Stop watches are not permitted. Hats with a fixed peak are not permitted and body protectors must be worn. Air jackets are optional. Please note: BHS hat and body protector standards have have been updated for 2024, please ensure your equipment meets these requirements.

Entry fee £35 per class plus £4 paramedic fee per rider.

Special Classes

This show is a qualifier for The Sunshine Tour Championships held at The All-England Showground, Hickstead from Thursday 11th – Sunday 14th September 2024. The Championships are for unaffiliated and amateur competitors in Dressage from Intro to Elementary, Show Jumping from Lead Rein to 1.0m; Showing for lead rein, in-hand, ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus many more, Eventer’s Challenge from 50cm through to 90cm.

Qualification: Eventers Challenge 1st – 4th place. Qualification does not pass down the line.

Registration of qualification must be completed within 1 month of competition (sooner for late July shows). Restrictions apply to both horse and competitor’s previous winnings and amateur status, please check the website for Terms & Conditions.

Withdrawals/Refunds

Withdrawals/refunds: Cancellations received before the close of entries can have 50% of the class fees refunded - first aid is non refundable. Alternativly a voucher code for the value of the class may be issued. After this time, no refunds will be given.  Voucher codes may be issued to anyone who we can fill the space from a potential wait list. If weather conditions are extreme, please check our website for updates or call in case of cancellation.
