Show Information

The competition will consist of a shortened show jumping course in the second indoor arena, continuing straight out to the main outdoor arena with approx. 10 XC fences. An undisclosed optimum time will be set for the cross-country phase. The rider will proceed immediately from the show jumps to the cross-country jumps (one continuous course). All courses will be encouraging, inviting & suitable for novices/1st time runners.
DRESS CODE - Cross country attire for both phases, body protectors and riding helmets WITHOUT a fixed peak MUST be worn. Please see the general rules below for extra information/safety standards.

Payment Details & Event Fees

ONLINE ENTRIES ONLY in advance using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Solihull Riding Club. You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Entry Fees: £30.00 Includes 1st Aid cover.
NB. You will need your own number bibs – these will not be provided on the day, nor will any numbers. Please print your own numbers.

Withdrawals/Refunds

Refunds/Transfers: Entries will only be refunded if 48 hours notice is given, subject to admin fee. A transfer can be made if 24 hours notice is given. After this time period, no refunds will be given. REFUNDS: After the closing date, no refunds will be issued unless medical / vet certificates are provided. THESE RULES WILL BE STRITCTLY ADHERED TO AND NO REFUND OF ENTRY WILL BE MADE. In the event of Solihull Riding Club having to reschedule/ abandon only partial refunds shall be given. If Solihull Riding Club alter the competition structure, no refunds shall be given.

Terms & Conditions

Run in conjunction with British Riding Club Rules and Regulations HAT STANDARDS must be to the current standard. BODY PROTECTORS must be to the current standard. The use of HEAD CAMS are strictly prohibited. This includes use on the head, chest, bridle or any other part of the horse or rider. Medical armbands are advised but not compulsory and must be worn on the arm & filled out with up-to-date information. CORRECT dress & footwear with defined heels must be worn. Long hair is to be suitably tied up. ALL horses and ponies must be five years old and over. ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The Judge’s decision is final. INSURANCE Each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club, Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD, BE or independent cover. HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Those attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers. Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY save for the death or injury caused by the negligence of the organisers of the event, no liability is accepted for any accident, loss or damage, injury or illness to horses, ponies, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever. SRC RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ELIMINATE ANYONE NOT ABIDING BY THESE RULES
