Rosettes to runners up ie. who cleared the penultimate height. To be run as a’chase me charlie’ with a practice fence before each new height attempt. Eliminated following a stop or knock down.

Payment Details & Event Fees
Entries in advance please. You can enter using our Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Southdown and Eridge Supporters Club. Late entry only if space permits plus £5
Class 1 & 4 - £20, £15, £10 and Class 5 £25, £20, £15 generously provided by 3 Greys Riding School and rosettes to 6th place. Class 2 - winning team embroidered rugs and sashes generously provided by KSD Waste Management and Mrs D Wilkins. Runner up teamspecial prize in kind provided by Southdown and Eridge Supporters Club. Rosettes to 6th place. Class 3 - winner receives 50% of the total entry fees for the class and a sash . Rosettes to those clearing the penultimate height. Class 5 - David Miles Memorial Perpetual Trophy will be presented to the winner of this class. David was a great friend and supporter over many years and is much missed. The trophy will be presented by his wife Gwen. The winner will retain the Trophy, returning it in good time and good condition ready for the 2026 showjumping event, date to be confirmed. Class 6 - winning team embroidered rugs and sashes generously provided by KSD Waste Management and Mrs D Wilkins. £150, £90, £60 kindly provided by JB Arenas. Rosettes to 6th place. Class 7 - winner receives 50% of the total of the entry fees for the class and a sash. Rosettes to those clearing the penultimate height. Classes 3 & 7 - sharing of the prize, in the event of joint winners, will only occur with the agreement of each winning competitor.
Team Showjumping - Three different riders must start their round which may be completed by them or another rescuing member if their team. Riders must start their round from the start box once the previous rider returns to the start box. Scoring - 5 seconds will be added for a fence down. A rider's first or second refusal will not be penalised but a third refusal will incur a 30 second team penalty and the rider must be rescued by another team member. A rider fall will incur a 60 second penalty and the rider must be rescued by another team member. At least one rider must jump the joker fence which, if cleared, will deduct 30 seconds from the team time (only one 30 seconds per team). Failure to attempt the joker fence by any team member will incur a penalty of 30 seconds. Gate Jumping- To be run as a 'chase me Charlie'. A practice fence will be available prior to each height attempted. Those clearing each height go forward to the next height. A refusal or knock down incurs elimination. The competitor clearing the highest gate will be the winner. A rider may ride only one horse/pony in the class.

General Rules, Conditions and Health & Safety Cars must be parked in the designated area and not in the lorry park to ensure everyone's safety. The area will be signed, please support volunteer parking stewards. All Classes are run under BS rules. All quoted fence heights are approximate. A horse or pony may not be entered more than once in a class. A horse or pony may be entered in both classes 3 and 7. Classes 2 and 3 - DOB of rider must be given on the entry form The Judge's decision is final. The organisers reserve the right to cancel, add or amend the classes as they think fit. Hard hats MUST be worn at all times when mounted. Body protectors are permitted and recommended for gate jumping classes.
Health & Safety - The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For those measures to be effective, everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and must obey the instructions of the organisers.
All horses and ponies must have completed a flu vaccination course. No horses or ponies to be tied up outside lorries or trailers and left unattended. No haynets to be tied up outside lorries/trailers. All droppings must be cleared up from the parking area and taken home. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times. Only the next 10 competing horses/ponies allowed in the warm up area at any one time. Strictly no lunging. By entering, you agree to abide by all the rules and conditions of the show.
