Snowman Style
Lead rein / Assistance allowed. Suitable for complete beginners. Single round to be judged on style. Assistance can be given including lead rein. No spurs allowed. Competitors not to have been placed at 60cm or above
Fancy dress prize for the best costume and sweets for all riders. Class will be divided into assisted and non-assisted sections with winners’ sashes for first placed riders in each section, prizes for 1st-3rd places and rosettes to 6th place

Online entries in advance only. You can book using a Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Crawley & Horsham Hunt Pony Club. You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

First Aid Contribution of £2.50 per rider
When travelling to Sands Farm we would ask all competitors to please avoid driving through Warnham Village. Instead, please follow the road signs to “Equestrian Centre” on the A24 and A29. The entrance to the Showground is on Three Stile Road.
Reasonable Adjustment
The Pony Club is committed to ensuring that, wherever possible, members are able to access all aspects of the Branch and Centre activities we offer. Reasonable Adjustments are any actions that help to reduce the effect of a disability or difficulty. Reasonable Adjustments can be used for the Pony Club Tests and should be approved in advance of the Test taking place. Reasonable Adjustments can also be used to allow for members to take part in activities or competitions. As with Tests, these adjustments should be approved in advance of the activity or competition.
How to apply for a Reasonable Adjustment
The application is via the Reasonable Adjustment Application Form. This Form must be submitted, accompanied by the member’s Personal Profile and relevant documents from a healthcare professional, to the relevant person (Test Organiser, Competition Secretary, Rally Organiser) at least two weeks before the activity is due to take place.

RULES
1. This competition is run under Pony Club Show Jumping Rules for 2024
2. Hard hats/crash helmets with correctly fastened chin straps/harness should be worn at all times when mounted (PAS015).
3. The Organisers reserve the right to amend or cancel as they see fit. Should the event be cancelled £5 from each class entry will be retained.
4. The decision of the judge is final.
5. Refunds will only be given if a medical or veterinary certificate is produced within 7 days of the competition.
6. Horses and ponies must be 4 years and over.
7. ALL CLASSES WILL HAVE A DRAWN ORDER.
8. A rider and horse/pony combination may only compete in 2 consecutive heights and horses may only be ridden once in each class.
9. Grade A, JA ponies can enter as per PC SJ rules 2024
10. Competitors should be ready to enter the ring when called. In order to maintain the smooth running of the show, if after 1 minute they are not present, they may be eliminated.
11. Any rider who the organisers or judges consider to be riding dangerously or in an inconsiderate manner will be asked to leave the showground.
12. Any person who the organisers or judges consider to have misused either the whip or spurs will be asked to leave the showground.
13. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
14. Objections, accompanied by a deposit of £20, must be made in writing within 15 minutes to the secretary.
15. All horses or ponies brought to the showground must be up to date will all vaccinations. Please bring passports as you may be asked for them to verify this. In particular flu vaccinations should be in date and preferably in the last six months.
16. If you suspect that your horse/pony has been in contact with ANY infectious disease, please do not attend any event at this centre.
17. Practice jumps must be jumped from the correct side, failure to do so will result in the competitor being eliminated from the competition.
18. Horses / ponies must not be left unattended when tied up to boxes or trailers (or to any fencing) AT ANY POINT throughout the show.
19. Dogs, DRONES, bicycles, roller blades or similar are not permitted on the Showground or the car parking area. Dogs must be confined to the owner’s vehicle and kept on a lead in the lorry parking area. Dog mess is to be cleared up and poo bags taken home. POO BAGS ARE NOT TO BE LEFT AROUND OR HUNG ON TREES OR FENCES
20. No person shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete in any show jumping or dressage competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure other members of the public are not put at risk of injury
