 * By booking online you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. 

• Parking is available on site for any sized vehicle. 

• Toilet facilities are available for use on site. 

• External instructors are welcomed. 

•Use of the arena is at the hirer’s own risk. 

• If the Arena is set out as a show jumping course, all fences must be left the way they were found and must not be moved other than to higher or lower. 

• If the Arena is set out as a flat/dressage layout, the jumps can still be used but must be returned to their appropriate storage area at the end of your session.

• All droppings must be removed from the arenas, holding area and the parking areas prior to the Hirer leaving the premises. 

• Dogs are not permitted on site at any time. 

• Please note that Crabbick Farm is a working farm with a variety of animals and machinery on site.

You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

£15 per 30 minute slot for 1 horse
£1 per extra horse up to a maximum of 8 horses in total

Terms & Conditions

Equestrian pursuits are inherently dangerous and can result in serious injury and therefore using Crabbick Farm and facilities is entirely at your own risk.
When hiring Crabbick Farm facilities, you are agreeing to the following terms:
• All private arena hire charges must be paid prior to the date online via the My Riding Life website. • For arena hire, 24 hours’ notice of cancellation must be given otherwise a full charge for hire will apply. All arena hire bookings are non-refundable but can be transferred to another date if at least 24 hours notice is given. Please note that block bookings in excess of two hours are non-refundable or transferrable. A ‘No Show’ for a booking without prior cancellation or reasonable explanation will result in loss of full hire fees. Crabbick Farm reserves the right to cancel a booking if the hirer arrives 15 or more minutes late for their booked session. • All riders MUST wear a hat to the standard of EN1384, ASTMF1163 or PAS 015 at all times when mounted. • All riders are required to wear suitable footwear with defined heels. • Hirers must stick to their allocated time slot so they don’t interfere with any other bookings. • Gates must be shut at all times. • All droppings must be removed from the arenas, holding area and the parking areas prior to the Hirer leaving the premises. • Horses and ponies must not be left tied to any trailer or horsebox unattended. • Dogs are not permitted on site at any time. • Spectators are asked not to enter the arena when in use. • No smoking or drinking alcohol is permitted anywhere on site. • Litter is to be taken home with you or disposed of in the red bin at the main gate. • Children under 16 must be supervised at all times by an adult in the arena. • An adult with a working mobile phone must always be in attendance when the arena is in use. • All lone riders must carry a working mobile phone and should alert the Yard Manager to the fact they are unaccompanied upon their arrival unless they have already identified this as part of their booking. • Use of the arena is at the hirer’s risk. All hirers are advised to check arena before entering to ensure that it has been left in a safe and good clean condition by the previous occupant, and are required to leave it in a safe and good clean condition. • If the Arena is set out as a flat/dressage layout, the jumps can still be used but must be returned to their appropriate storage area at the end of your session. • If the Arena is set out as a show jumping course, all fences must be left the way they were found and must not be moved other than to higher or lower. Please note that whilst courses are set it is your responsibility to ensure heights and distances are set to your own requirements and abilities. • Hirers are requested to report any damaged/broken jumps immediately to the Yard Manager before leaving the premises either in person during staffed hours (7:30am-4:30pm daily) or by texting the Yard Phone on 07895328438 stating your name and time of booking and the damage/breakage. The hirer is responsible for any damage caused to the premises or equipment and must pay the total amount required to make good any such damage. • After each hire the Arena and equipment is inspected so we will be aware of any hirers that leave damage. • All hirers and their guests and customers are required to adhere to commonly accepted standards of decency and good behaviour. Racial abuse, discrimination, swearing and loud or aggressive conduct will not be tolerated. Crabbick Farm reserves the right to ask any person on the premises to leave immediately. Crabbick Farm reserve the right to refuse admission to any person without giving reason. • All commercial block bookings can be paid for in receipt of invoice in arrears and will be subject to VAT or alternatively can be booked on a sessional basis through the My Riding Life Website. If you wish to arrange a block booking, please contact us via email at crabbickfarm@gmail.com • All commercial hirers must ensure their event is covered by suitable insurance and must indemnify Crabbick Farm and its owners/staff against any claim for accident, injury, loss or similar, however caused to either horse, rider or spectators. For block arena hire a copy of the relevant insurance must be provided. • On commercial hire days, First Aid will not be provided by Crabbick Farm. First Aid must be provided to cover the event in the case of venue hire for events. • All clients hosting an event are deemed responsible and must ensure full compliance with relevant Health & Safety Policies. Crabbick Farm reserves the right to halt any actions which we consider to be unsafe. • Neither the owners or the tenants or any persons acting on their behalf accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators or any other person's or property whatsoever. • Due to circumstances beyond our control, it may sometimes be necessary to change or cancel your booking. Where the change is considered major as decided by us, you will be offered the option to accept the change, or to receive a full refund of any monies paid against the booking. Crabbick Farm is not responsible for any other costs, expenses or damages which may have been incurred by the hirer or their guest/s as a result of the change.
