Payment Details & Event Fees
Bookings and payment in advance only. Online Bookings preferred You can book using our Secure Online Booking System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to LMEQ. You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment. £5.00 for first aid per rider, per day.

NO REFUNDS can be made, except for cancellation of the event, when entry fees will be returned less £5 per entry for administration costs
The hunter trials will be run according to the rules of British Eventing for the cross country phase, except where varied below and the making of an entry constitutes acceptance of those rules.
** XC penalties will be as per BE rules at each level with the exception of timing. An optimum time will be calculated but not published to competitiors. Time penalties will be given per second either side of this with no window. Penalties will be allocated at the usual 0.4 per second. ***All sections, all horses to be a minimum 137cms, 4 years old & above. Riders must attain the age of 12 years old in 2023
Points won in B.E. events will not apply. Hard hats must be worn to BE/PC/RC standards. Body protectors must be worn when competing in the cross country phase. Competitors must wear medical arm bands if they have anything they need to disclose to paramedics in event of a fall. Any horse or pony, which is considered by a Judge or the Organisers to be too small for the jockey, unsound, unfit or unhealthy, will be excluded from further competition without any refund of entry fee. ATV (quad bikes) and motor-bikes are not permitted, unless specifically authorised by the Organisers. Abandonment: In the event of abandonment £10 will be retained from each entry.
OBJECTIONS: Objections must be made in writing to the Information point within half an hour of the incident together with a £50 deposit. The deposit will be forfeited if the objection is not sustained. After this the score cannot be changed.
DOGS All dogs must be kept on a very short lead at all times. By bringing a dog to the Event you agree that the dog owner / handler is at all times entirely responsible for the dog in their care, including ensuring that all faeces is immediately picked up and disposed of in a designated receptacle. By bringing a dog to the Event you agree that you indemnify the Organisers, LMEQ Ltd, the Landowners and their agents against any claim for any accident that may happen to the dog howsoever caused. Any dog causing a nuisance will be asked to leave the site immediately with it’s handler.
HEALTH and SAFETY STATEMENT The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of every person present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Please take special care to ensure the safety of children.
DISCLAIMER of LIABILITY Save for death or injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, LMEQ, for themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the horse trials, do not accept liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or statutory duty or any way whatsoever of themselves, their servants, agents, employees and all those connected with the horse trials or otherwise.
RESERVATION of RIGHT: The Organisers reserve the right to: Cancel any class or section; Divide any class; Transfer competitors between sections of a class; Alter the advertised times, and Refuse any entry.
CONDITIONS of ENTRY and RULES FOR NSEA CLASSES All schools & riders must be affiliated to NSEA These horse trials will be run according to the rules of British Eventing, except where varied below and the making of an entry constitutes acceptance of those rules & NSEA Rules 2024. *Horses/Ponies must be 4 years of age or older *Riders must be at least 11 years of age for 100 and 10 years of age for 90. There is no minimum age limit for 80 *Points won in B.E. events will not apply. *Hard hats must be worn to BE/PC/RC standards and must be tagged with new Aqua Coloured Tag (2018 onwards) *Body protectors must be worn when competing in the cross country phase. *Competitors should wear medical arm bands if they have anything they need to disclose to paramedics in event of a fall. *Any horse or pony, which is considered by a Judge or the Organisers to be too small for the jockey, unsound, unfit or unhealthy, will be excluded from further competition without any refund of entry fee. *ATV’s and motor-bikes are not permitted, unless specifically authorised by the Organisers. *All dogs must be kept on short leads. *Paper numbers will be used, so each rider will require a bib to display the number.

Notwithstanding the above, NSEA’s total liability (including any liability for the acts or omissions of its employees, agents, consultants and subcontractors) in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation, restitution or otherwise arising in connection with your attendance or participation in any activity at NSEA events shall be limited to £5,000,000.
Your Responsibility All persons attending the event must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and must obey instructions given by the Organiser or by officials and stewards on its behalf. All competitors and those associated with their school are the responsibility of the Team Manager whilst at the competition The NSEA will not be held responsible for any financial loss incurred by the attendee as a result of a cancellation.
