COMPETITION STRUCTURE AND SCORING Classes range from 70cm - 100cm level. Dress: XC colours, body protectors are compulsory. Rider must wear BE approved skull caps, no fixed peak SJ hats. Competition results (rider name, horse name, position, penalties, competition class and date) will be shared with British Eventing to support Championship entry validation. When entering both the qualifier and championships the same horse’s name must be used (no stable names). Penalties will be given as per the table below. * Time allowed is twice the optimum time. The judge’s decision is final. Classes are split into two age ranges, seniors and under 18's (U18). Whilst the qualifiers will see all age groups compete together, the Championship Final will see the two age categories split. Those competing in the U18 classes are not to have attained their 18th birthday on or before the date of the Championships. Competitors who qualify for the BE ACE Championships at Aintree Equestrian Centre will receive a British Eventing ACE Championships qualification email from the BE Office on receipt of the results at BE from the Qualifying venues. Upon receipt of the qualification email competitors will have 14 days to become a member (minimum PAYG) of BE to retain their qualification. Failure to do this will result in the qualification being passed down the line to the next placed combination that have not already qualified. Qualifying period is between 1st October and mid May

Entries accepted in advance using our Secure Online Entry System only. Payment is secure and it goes directly to West Wilts EC. You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment. Late entries accepted at £3.00 extra per class, if space allows, up until 9am on Thursday 30th November.

Withdrawals, Refunds and Entry Policy All competitions are pre-entry only, no refund or transfer is possible after initial close of entries date as published on the schedule. All withdrawals to be made via e-mail please. The booking fee is non-refundable in all cases. For withdrawals before the published closing date refunds of the Entry Cost can be made less £3.00 Admin Fee alternatively, we can offer a free transfer to another event. No refunds or transfers can be made during the late entry period unless we are able to replace it from a wait list. Please see relevant rule books for additional policies in place for British Dressage, British Show Jumping and British Eventing.
Abandonment Policy In the case of abandonment of a competition for any reason we will offer a free transfer towards an alternative competition – or a refund minus a £3.00 admin fee. The booking fee is non-refundable in all cases.
· All entries and payments to be made online. · ALL horses must not be under current investigation for infectious diseases including, for example, Equine Herpes Virus (EHV), Equine Influenza, Strangles. · All Horses must not have been in contact with and is not kept on the same premises as a horse known to have or be under investigation for the neurological form of EHV, Equine Influenza, Strangles or Equine Viral Arteritis. · All activity will be in accordance with the advice from the relevant national body, and ANY social distancing guidelines must always be adhered to. · HORSES/PONIES MUST NOT BE LEFT TIED UP OUTSIDE UNATTENDED. · Please do not park in front of or block access to the loading bay. · PLEASE PRINT/MAKE YOUR OWN ALLOCATED RIDER NUMBER OR USE YOUR NUMBER DISKS. NUMBERS WILL BE ALLOCATED WITH TIMES. THIS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES AND MUST BE EASILY READABLE. · NO spectators or filming are allowed in any of the warm-up or competition arenas. Please use viewing areas. · Warm up time may be limited by numbers allowed in arena to an estimated 30 – 40 minutes. · You are expected to ride on your allocated times. If you do not do so, you risk being unable to compete. · DRESSAGE SHEETS - Please email us for a copy or leave an A5 Large Letter Stamped Addressed HARD BACKED Envelope for rosettes or an ordinary SAE for dressage sheets only. · PLEASE CLEAR UP ANY DROPPINGS OR HAY IN THE LORRY PARK. · Dogs are allowed but MUST be kept on a short lead at all times. No Exceptions.
