Run as a rescue relay. 1st rider will jump approx 8 fences at approx 70cm, return to change over box to 2nd rider to complete course of approx 8 fences at 80cm. 1st rider must be in change over start box before 2nd rider starts. If 1st rider is eliminated other rider can complete both phases, if 2nd rider eliminated then pair is eliminated. Water splash option available and only middle part of devil’s dyke to be jumped. Fastest clear is the winner. 10 second penalties for each knockdown on course, 5 second penalty for each refusal refusals, 3 refusals = elimination. Whole course is timed. Rosettes 1st-6th pairs. Payment Details & Event Fees
ALL ENTRIES will only be accepted via the website www.brendonpyecombe.co.uk. There will be no exceptions to this rule. Entries will close Wednesday before show or before if full. We expect these shows to be busy so please enter early to avoid disappointment. We will accept substitutions only for the same class for entries up to 12pm the day before the show to allow enough time for drawn orders to be available on website.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Brendon Pyecombe.

Arena Eventing: Rosettes 1st - 10th place. Brendon Saddlery Vouchers pro rata to starters. Rosettes and prizes to be collected from office.
1st 10 in all classes will qualify for our own Arena Eventing Championships at Pyecombe in March 2025. All eligible classes will be Sunshine Tour at Hickstead qualifiers. 80cm, 90cm & 1m classes will all be qualifiers for SEEL Arena Eventing Championships held at Petley Wood in April 2025. More details available in secretary’s on the day. Our own Pyecombe Points League for all classes through the season. 70, 80 and 90cm classes are a qualifier for the NPS/ ANTHONY EVANS ARENA EVENTING CHALLENGE FINAL. The Final venue TBC. The final is open to mares, geldings and stallions four year old and over, in possession of an equine passport but no specific registration or breed society criteria. Ponies’ manes may be plaited at competitor discretion. Qualification will be gained by achieving a top 10 placing or a double clear in a qualifying class. Qualification will be confirmed by the NPS Office. Any qualification gained in the 60/ 70cm or 80/ 90cm will jump the higher limit in the final. Riders may only ride one pony in each class at the final. Only ponies owned by NPS members (Life, Qualifying or Performance) can qualify for the final (must be a member at time of qualification).
Entries will be only be refunded if notified by email before 48 hours before start of event.
No refunds once times are published unless we can sell your entries.

Standard Brendon Stud Show Rules will apply and added rules for this show are:.
All classes will be run over a section of Show Jumps followed by a section of simulated cross-country and natural fences (some will be fixed & some will be knockdown fences).
This season's Arena Eventing seasons will be run to optimum time rules, full rules and penalties will be displayed outside secretary's office.
Any riding deemed dangerous by judges/steward may incur elimination. Judges decision is final.
BE compliant XC kit must be worn - See Rules 5 & 6. Stop watches and Go Pro Cameras are not permitted.
First Aid - £5 per rider. All entries in advance so individual times can be given.
Rosettes 1st-10th in each class.

1. Horses/ponies must compete at their allocated time slot. 2. No horse/pony under the age of four years may compete, and only horses/ponies competing in the show may be ridden on the show ground. 3. HATS All riders MUST wear correctly fitting approved protective headgear conforming to VG1, ASTM, PAS 015, SEI, or SNELL E2001, carrying the BSI Kite Mark, which includes retaining harness secured to the shell at more than two points and with no fixed peak. Must be worn and be correctly fastened AT ALL TIMES when mounted. 4. HAIR Riders must wear their hair no longer than shoulder length, neatly & firmly secured. 5. BODY PROTECTORS MUST BE WORN. Correct riding dress, including light coloured breeches or jodhpurs, must be worn. Cross country colours allowed. 6. All entries are pre-entry. Once classes are full/times published on website, entries will not be refundable under any circumstances unless we can sell your entries. We will operate a waiting list. 7. HOW TO ENTER: All entries must be made online please at www.brendonpyecombe.co.uk.
Café and saddlery shop will be open.
No people will be allowed in jumping arena.
