Junior Novice Winter Dressage, for teams of 4 riders, with 3 scores to count and for individuals (all team members are automatically entered in the individual competition). One rider will ride either BD Intro 3 (2024) BD Prelim 1 (2024), BD Prelim 2 (2024), BD Novice 1 (2024) See eligibility rules below. ENTRY FEES £13 per class Please state clearly on your online entry the CLUB AND TEAM NAME YOU ARE COMPETING FOR Pre-entries entries where required must be sent to BRC Head Office 21 days prior to the Qualifier.

Prize Information

Rosettes to 6 th in all classes – Please bring or post an A5 SAE with a “large” stamp if you will not be here at the end of the class.

Special Classes

This is a qualifier for the SEIB British Riding Clubs Novice Winter dressage championships to be held at Arena UK, Allington Lane, Allington, Grantham, NG32 2EF in April 2025
Eligibility has changed for Winter 2024-2025 season and onwards, eligibility can be found on the winter 2024-25 eligibility update( winter-champs-2025.pdf (bhs.org.uk))./BRC 2025 Handbook. Eligibility will be taken from close of pre-entry. All competitors must be a member & competitors must be a registered current member of the correct club on Sport80 by midday the Friday before the qualifier. Anyone failing to meet the eligibility criteria will be disqualified and informed by BRC HQ when the results are processed.

Terms & Conditions

• PLEASE NOTE ALL HORSES MUST BE MICROCHIPPED • All HORSES MUST HAVE HAD A FLU VACCINATION WITHIN ONE YEAR OF THE COMPETITION AND NOT WITHIN THE 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. • A copy of the flu vaccination and microchip MUST be sent to Tony Parker BEFORE the event: a5passports@gmail.com Solihull Riding Club • Pre-Entries All entrants must pay a pre-entry per team, and per individual to British Riding Clubs by 21 days prior to the event date. https://www.bhs.org.uk/enjoy-riding/british-riding-clubs click on prelim entries. • If the date of the qualifier is cancelled for any reason, the close of prelim entry will remain. However, if the qualifier is moved more than 21 days later, entries will be re-opened but late entry fees cannot be refunded. Eligibility will be considered from the original close of prelim entry date. • All hats must have a visible AQUA BRC hat tag in place before they are used for warming up and competing. Your horse must have up to date Influenza vaccinations in line with rule G7 in the current BRC Rulebook. • There is a checking device on the BRC website. Passports must be emailed prior to the event to a5passports@gmail.com General Rules • HATS must be worn whenever mounted ONLY Jockey skull hats without a peak (greater than 5mm smooth and rounded in nature) may be worn for cross country. Hat silks may be worn with flexible peak. It must also comply with safety standards for hats. • BODY PROTECTORS A body protector is obligatory for all arena eventing and crosscountry events and are also strongly recommended for all show jumping events. Body protectors should be fitted and worn as per the manufacturer’s instructions. If a rider chooses to wear an airbag style body protector it must be worn over a permitted body protector and if activated, must be deflated or removed before continuing. Hybrid Air jackets and Helite Air Jackets are permitted. It is recommended that body protectors are replaced once they are more than 5 years old. Riders wearing Exo Body Cage protectors must inform the secretary at all events. • Solihull Riding Club CORRECT dress & footwear with defined heels must be worn. • ALL horses and ponies must be four years old and over. • ALL Riders to be 4 years old and over. • ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. • SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. • The Judge’s decision is final. • INSURANCE Each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club, Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD, BE or independent cover. • HEALTH & SAFETY • The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. • Those attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event • Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers. • Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. • Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. • DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY save for the death or injury caused by the negligence of the organisers of the event, no liability is accepted for any accident, loss or damage, injury or illness to horses, ponies, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever
