PYATTS ARENA - Terms and Conditions of Use

Use of the Arena by any person confirms their agreement to these terms and conditions:
1. All bookings should be made on-line via My Riding Life. Payment is required at the time of booking.
2. Details of your public liability insurance are required to make a booking. All riders and all trainers, coaches, teachers or any person responsible for a rider must have valid public liability insurance of not less than £2m.
3. Any person bringing any form of paid employee (groom, rider or paid assistant etc) must hold appropriate employer’s liability insurance. Insurance is recommended for injury, veterinary fees and death cover for the horse as well as rider personal accident cover
4. All riders must wear a suitable riding hat conforming to current standards. When handling horses, even if not mounted, a suitable hat should be worn. Suitable footwear must also be worn whilst mounted.
5. Any person using the Arena is also responsible for any trainer, spectator, groom, assistant or observer in attendance at the premises with the said person. All riders under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult and must be kept under control at all times.
6. The rider accepts that they/their trainer or responsible adult has surveyed and assessed as suitable for use the facilities, the ground conditions and the construction and maintenance of any jumps or fences.
7. Please use the main car park and keep all gates in and out of the Arena closed at all times except when in use and to obey all other signage. No dogs please. Smoking is not permitted on the premises.
8. If you wish to harrow the arena before your booking you are welcome to use our harrow with your own 4 x 4 vehicle at your own risk. Polo and any team users must harrow or roll the arena immediately after their use (and before if they require).
9. Please ensure that all droppings are removed and put in the muck trailer and that the arena and car park are left clean and tidy and free from litter.
10. Please leave jumps as you find them or if these are not required we would ask that you stack them neatly in the Arena or outside the small gate at the far end of the Arena.
11. Riding, working with horses and handling horses can be dangerous and horses may be unpredictable. Persons on the premises or using the Arena do so at their own risk and West Wycombe Estate will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss. You agree to indemnify the West Wycombe Estate against all and any claims for damages, including any legal fees, howsoever caused from your use.
12. West Wycombe Estate reserves the right to request that riders/trainers/owners or any other person using the facilities leave in circumstances where in their opinion a person is creating a dangerous situation, riding in a dangerous manner and/or where a person is mistreating a horse or acting irresponsibly. Where a person is asked to they must immediately leave the premises.
13. West Wycombe Estate reserves the right to cancel any reservation without notice and/or to refuse any admission or ask any person to leave the premises and/or Arena with immediate effect and cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss or liability howsoever caused.
14. If you need to cancel a booking please give as much notice as possible. If we receive less than 72 hours notice the full rate for your booking will be charged. If you are entitled to a refund it will exclude any booking fees payable to our on-line agents.
15. West Wycombe Estate is not responsible for the provision of First Aid personnel or equipment. The Rider (or any group organiser, trainer or responsible adult) agrees to ensure their own provision for First Aid. However, there should be a First Aid kit attached to the electric box near the muck trailer.
