This is an opportunity to have a go at our Christmas Special Dressage competition in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Christmas/Festive jumpers and safe decorations actively encouraged! Experienced or new to dressage, young & old, nervous, have a young horse or just plain rusty – everyone is welcome. Fedw Fun tests are only available to lead rein and children 12yrs and under. For this event All other tests will be the old (pre-2024) BD tests i.e. before changes Callers on site and available to help! Rosettes to 6th Place Class 1 - Fedw Fun II Class 2 – Fedw Fun III Class 3 - BD Intro A Class 4 - BD Prelim 1 Class 5 - BD Prelim 12 Class 6 - BD Novice 24 Class 7 - BD Elementary 44 The actual tests will be on the entry form as they may differ each month ***Entries Via My Riding Life*** Unaffiliated Classes range from £8.50 to £13.50 per class Please see www.fedw.co.uk for T&C’s of Entry and BD rules before entering

iEntries in advance only. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Fedw Equestrian Centre. You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
Rosettes 1st - 6th place. Points will be awarded for entering, best % and best placings which will go toward the FEC winter series Championship Day. The highest point competitors will be invited to join us at the Championship Day on the 6th April. (Please note you must also have attended at least 2 of the Dressage Shows). Points awarded as follows: * 5 points for entering a class 1st =12 points 2nd=10 points 3rd= 8 points 4th = 6 points 5th = 4 points 6th = 2 points 50-54% =1 point 55-59% = 2 points 60-64% = 3 points 65-69% = 4 points 70-74% = 5 points 75+% = 6 points
Cafe will be open Hot and Cold Drinks Homemade cakes and chocolate Soup/Paninis/Bacon Rolls/ Jacket Potato etc
Withdrawals up to the closing date will be refunded minus an administration charge. All withdrawals have to be made either via my show secretary or email sam@fedw.co.uk Withdrawals after the closing date regretably will not be refunded so please check for the offical closing date. Late enties won't be refunded. See below: Should the event have to be postponed by the centre, all entries will automatically be transferred to the next appropriate session/competition. If a refund is required this must be made via email ( sam@fedw.co.uk) AND within 48hrs of the postponment. Should a refund be requested it will be minus an admininstration charge. Please note refunds can take up to 10 working days, depending on your bank/CC provider, as advised in the MRL T&C's on booking entries.
Terms and Conditions of Competition Entry, Clinics and Arena Hire Bookings We would like to advise you of the following Terms and Conditions of hire, arena use and booking lessons. Entry to Fedw Equestrian Centre is entirely at your own risk. All hires of Fedw Equestrian Centre are entirely at your own risk. Café facilities will be closed unless prearranged. Strictly no entry to any other part of the premises. CCTV will always be in operation
These terms apply to all bookings at FEDW EQUESTRIAN CENTRE (hereafter referred to as Fedw EC) and must be agreed to by the hirer prior to any event or hire. You must follow the rules for use of equipment and facilities as outlined in Fedw EC Policies and Procedures below: • All entries must now be strictly online, through the website NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE‼ • FEDW EC reserve the right to halt any actions which we consider to be contrary to our Health and Safety policy or which we consider to be unsafe. • All clients, guests and customers are required to adhere to commonly accepted standards of decency and good behaviour. Animal misuse, racial abuse, discrimination, swearing and loud or aggressive conduct will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask any person on the premises to leave immediately. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any persons without giving reason. To ensure the arena surface remains in the best possible condition we ask that: • Under no circumstances are horses to be let loose, lunged or loose schooled in the arenas. • No hay/haylage/animal or human feed stuff to be taken into the arenas • We ask that horses are refrained from being tied in the arena and are never left unsupervised • All bookings will be treated as provisional and time slots not secured until payment has cleared. It is your responsibility to check your payment this. • Hirers must stick to their allocated time slot, so they do not interfere with any other bookings. • No Smoking in arenas, barns or stables. • Before using FEC Facilities you must ensure that you have adequate insurance for you and your horse. • All equines are required to be annually vaccinated against Equine Influenza and must have had the first two vaccinations before attending the premises. Passports will be randomly checked. • All hirers must bring someone with them in case of emergency. Children under 18 years are always to be supervised by an appropriate adult. Please note there is not any mobile signal on site apart from WIFI calling. There is a radio in the Indoor arena which can be used to contact staff. • Use of the arena is at hirers risk. All hirers are advised to check arena and equipment before entering to ensure that it has been left in a safe condition by the previous occupant. If issues are found please radio staff. • Please return any equipment used back to its storage area after use unless already set up prior to hire or you have permission from FEDW EC to leave out. • Breakages of Equipment: All equipment breakages are the responsibility of the hirer and will be charged for. All breakages must be reported to Fedw EC via email sam@Fedw.co.uk • We require any person or organisation hiring our facilities to ensure the appropriate risk assessments are carried out, and documented, in accordance with current Health and Safety standards. • We require any person or organisation hiring our facilities to be responsible for first aid cover for the duration of their event/hire. This is mandatory for anyone hiring Fedw EC Facilities. Fedw EC does not provide any first aid cover. We strongly encourage all hirers to have personal and equine insurance • All areas hired are to be left clean and tidy. All droppings to be immediately removed and placed in muck bins provided. No mucking out onto lorry park. Litter is to be taken home or disposed of in appropriate recycling bins as dictated to by Welsh Government. • All instructors using Fedw EC facilities must have their own insurance cover, child protection certificate and first aid training for providing tuition and may be asked to issue a copy to Fedw EC. • Riding Hats, with a correctly fitted chin strap, to current British Standard Skull Caps/Riding Hats Nos PAS015, EN1384 (USA) ASTMF1163 which meet current Safety Standards MUST be worn at all times when mounted (and is advised at all other times whilst handling horses), NO EXCEPTIONS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. See poster in Arena for the most up to date standards. • Only suitable footwear should be worn when riding. Body protectors are highly recommended especially when jumping. See poster in Arena for the most up to date standards. • Dogs: persons or organisations hiring our facilities are requested to NOT bring dogs to Fedw Equestrian Centre, but if brought to Fedw EC they must be on a lead at all times. • Responsibility and Control: Neither Fedw EC or any of its staff shall in any way be responsible for any loss, injury or damages that may happen to the hirer or assistants or other members of the public, or to any animal or property or to any vehicle brought into Fedw EC or while entering or leaving the venue. • Due to circumstances beyond Fedw EC control it may be necessary to change or cancel bookings. Where the change is considered major as decided by Fedw EC you will be offered the option to accept the change or to receive a full refund of any monies paid against the booking. FEDW EC is not responsible for any other costs, expenses or damages which may have been incurred by the client or their guest as a result of the change. • Cancellation: You can cancel a booking of less than 3 hours and will receive a full refund, minus the credit card transaction and booking fees if applicable, as long as you cancel the booking a minimum of 48 hrs in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will attract a 50% booking fee, unless we can rearrange. • Cancellation: You can cancel a booking of more than 3 hours and will receive a 50% refund, minus the credit card transaction and booking fees if applicable, as long as you cancel the booking a minimum of 48 hrs in advance. Fedw Equestrian Centre - Covid-19 STATEMENT REGARDING SCHOOL HIRE. In the effort to minimise risks of the spread of COVID-19 and safeguarding of staff we are taking direction from BHS/EEA and Welsh Government. We are advising that everyone follows the current NHS advice on social distancing. Please use handwashing and hand sanitizers regularly. All event organizers to be responsible for collection of 'Track & Trace' details There will be 5 minute intervals between slots to enable previous hirers to vacate the premises therefore you must vacate arena on time Please park in the car park (old car park) opposite the indoor arena. If this is not possible, please leave maximum distancing between yourself and the other vehicles. Only one other person will be permitted to accompany hirers. We would also request that anyone feeling unwell, with cold type symptoms and a temperature, loss of taste/smell does not attend the centre. This also applies to owners, grooms and other connections. Handles, jumps and gates etc must be sanitized before and after using the facilities – this is provided.
