National Pavilion Owners Passes: LeMieux are very kindly providing two Nationals Pavilion Passes for Saturday and Sunday to each competitor enabling riders to give hospitality to the owner/s of the horse entered in the LeMieux Grand Prix Championship. Passes will be available to the named individual at the National Pavilion entrance.
Qualification for Class 21: The top 10 combinations from class 13 will go forward to class 21. It is mandatory for any Competitor qualified for Class 21 to participate and it will be assumed that all competitors are going forward. In cases of legitimate cancellation due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances official notification of withdrawal will be required in writing at the time of cancellation and will be forwarded to British Dressage post event. Such cancellation must be received at the Secretary’s office within one hour of completion of class 13 after which the Secretary will contact the next in line. A Competitor who does not participate without
legitimate reason will lose their placing and prize money from the Grand Prix. If a competitor qualifies two horses for the Kudos Grand Prix Freestyle Gold Championship they may opt to only enter one into the Freestyle.
No competitor may ride more than two horses in the Freestyle.

PRIZES AND PRIZE MONEY Prize money will be paid to the rider by BACS transfer after the show via an online system. Riders must collect a prize money claim form from the Secretary in order to register their bank details for payment. All prize money claims must be made by 30 September 2024. Any additional prizes awarded and commemorative plaques must be collected from the Show Secretary prior to departure from the Show Ground. Additional prizes will not be forwarded after the Show
SPECIAL AWARDS Eligibility for following Special Awards must be indicated at the point of entry
1. BD AMATEUR OWNER/RIDER ROSETTE: To the highest placed Amateur Owner/Rider open to those riding a horse registered in their name, or that of an immediate family member, and who compete in horse sports for recreational purposes only. Integrity caveat: This award is intended to recognise genuine amateur owner/riders. Only declare for this award if you genuinely feel that you are eligible according to the spirit in which this is intended. Eligibility must be stated at the point of entry to qualify for this award. The award may be collected from the Show Secretary’s Office after each prize giving.
2. BEST BRITISH BRED ROSETTE: A rosette will be awarded by The British Bred Sport Horse (BBSH) to the highest placed British-bred horse in all championships. Only one rosette will be awarded for each of the Young Horse classes over the semi-final and final. The award may be collected from the Show Secretary’s Office after each prize giving.
3. TYRELL TROPHY: Kindly donated by Lady Caroline Tyrell to the highest placed British Mare at the National Dressage Championships from all Championships (excluding 9, 16 & 17). In the event of equal class placings the winner will be the mare with the higher percentage. The Tyrell Trophy will be presented at the National Convention.
4. BD YOUTH ROSETTE: British Dressage is awarding a BD Youth rosette to the highest placed rider 25 years and under in 2022 in all classes (except Class 22) at the Championships. The award may be collected from the Show Secretary’s Office after each prize giving. Please note that competitors do not have to be BD Youth members to be eligible for this award.
The following Special Awards will be awarded automatically and does not require declaration at the point of entry 1. BD OWNERS AWARD: British Dressage is providing an award to the Owner of the winning horse in all Championships. In the Gold Para Dressage Championship they will be awarded to each Grade winner. The awards will be sent to owners following the event. 2. THE WORSHIPFUL COMPANY OF SADDLERS: Will very kindly be presenting a leather head collar to the winner of each of the five Para championship classes/grades. This award will be presented at the BD National Convention. 3. BRITISH DRESSAGE U25 INT II AND GP AWARD: British Dressage will award a rosette to the highest placed U25 riders aged 16-25 competing in both the Inter II and / or GP classes. The award may be collected from the Show Secretary’s office after the prize giving. Please note this award is only applicable to riders that compete in this particular age category and eligibility will be verified by BD ALL PERPETUAL TROPHIES WILL BE PRESENTED AT THE SECRETARY’S OFFICE
WITHDRAWALS – to be made to the Secretary on 07790 309424 with confirmation in writing via entries@showdirect.co.uk. REFUNDS OF FEES - A refund of 50% of the entry fee, stable fee and/or hook-up fee will be made on written cancellation by the Competior prior to 19 August, after which teh entry, stable and/or hook-up fee is non-refundable. No refund for whateve reason will be applicable after this date.
TERMS OF ENTRY Entry to and attendance at the LeMieux National Dressage Championships is subject to the General Rules and Regulations of the Show (as set out in the Official Schedule) and British Dressage Rules (as set out in the British Dressage Rule Book or available on the British Dressage website). By entering the Show you confirm that you have read, understood, accept and agree to comply with the Rules and Regulations of the Show and the Rules of British Dressage. In particular you acknowledge that the Organiser shall not under any circumstances be responsible for any loss, injury, illness or damage to (whether or not foreseeable and howsoever caused), or any theft from, any Competitor, any horse or other animal, any vehicle, or any other property whatsoever in the Show Ground, providing that nothing shall exclude or limit the Organiser’s liability for the death of or personal injury to any person caused by its negligence or that of its employees or agents.
