Class 1 will start at 5:00pm. Entries will be limited for each class and must be pre-entered online. Pre-entry only, drawn orders will be available the day before the competition. 

Start times will be given on the Thursday prior to the event, after 3pm.

Show Information

All classes are open to any horse and rider combination. All classes will be run under British Showjumping Rules and Conditions.

All entries must be made in advance. Entries close Wednesday at 3pm but will close earlier if reached capacity before then.
Late entries may be taken at the Organiser’s discretion. Late entry fee £2 per class.
 

Payment Details & Event Fees

Entries in advance only. You can enter using a Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Hartpury University & College.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Entry fee: £13.00
Please note there is a £3.50 per horse charge for qualified first aid cover

Prize Information

Rosettes to 6th place.

Prize money is in the form of a prize money voucher (depending on entry):

1-4 competitors = £0

5-8 competitors = 1st £13

9-12 competitors = 2nd £8

11+ competitors = £6

Special Classes

 All horse/rider combinations placed in the top three of the 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100 classes  will qualify according to the qualifying criteria for the South West Hartpury Championship Show on 25th May 2025.

Withdrawals/Refunds

Entries will be carried over to the future show if withdrawn before times are published. After times are published entries will not be carried over or refunded. 

Booking fees are non-refundable. Refunds will only be issued with a valid doctors note or veterinary certificate and subject to a £1.50 booking fee and £2.50 admin fee.

Terms & Conditions

To be run in accordance with British Showjumping Rules.

• Showjumping competitions will be run single-phase.

• No misuse of the whip, equipment or practice fences will be allowed.

• The committee reserves the right to alter, add or cancel any class, and to refuse any entry without stating a reason.

• All dogs must be kept on leads. • Horses and ponies must be four years old and over.

• The judges’ decision is final.

• All competitors are required to wear headgear that complies with the highest current safety standard.

• Objections must be made, in writing, to the Secretary within one hour of the incident with a £25 deposit. The deposit is forfeited if the objection is not sustained.

• The number of entries may be restricted for each class. • Horses and Ponies MUST NOT be tied to the side of horseboxes or trailers and left unattended – please clear up any mess left by you or your horses in the bins and muck trailers provided.

Qualifying Criteria for Unaffiliated Showjumping competitions from 1st September 2024 – 31st March 2025

        Qualification is awarded to the top 3 horse/rider combinations providing they have jumped clear in the first round.

        British Showjumping members are not eligible to qualify for Class 1

        Horses registered with British Showjumping who have won more than 125 points at the time of qualification are not eligible to qualify for Class 2 or 3

        Ponies registered with British Showjumping who have won more than 300 points at the time of qualification are not eligible to qualify for Class 2 and 3

        British Showjumping members who are in the Gold League are not eligible for qualification in any class.

        In the event that you have gained qualification in more than one different height section you may take your place in a MAXIMUM of two of the Championships per rider

        Winning combinations of championship classes in 2024 will not be eligible to compete in the same or a lower height championship class in 2025.

        Entries must be received by Wednesday the 15th of May 2025

 

Note: Qualifying cards should be given or e-mailed to competitors who gain qualification on the day of competition.
