Show Information

Competitors must be a member of JRC.  Non-members can participate by taking out a Day or Full membership – a form must be completed and submitted along with evidence of public liability insurance to the Membership Secretary prior to the event. A form is downloadable from the JRC website.

Classes are Open so you can enter whichever grade you like, however, if you and your horse have BD points, you can only compete in an Open class at your BD level or above.  Note that the Walk Trot or Intro level tests are intended for novice riders or very inexperienced horse and rider combinations.

Note that Classes will not necessarily run in the order listed – we will attempt to run the classes in the best order to suit the majority of competitors.

Please quote JRC competitor number assigned to your horse in the Notes with your entry on MRL.  If the horse has not been assigned a number, or you have forgotten it please contact the Membership Secretary.  Note that all competitors must now wear a number on EACH side of the horse in line with BRC and British Dressage rules.

 All classes count towards qualification for the JRC Dressage Championships in October.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Entries accepted in advance using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Jersey Riding Club.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Entry fee: £10 per class    (please note that MyRiding Life charges an additional £ 1.50 per payment)

Prize Information

 

Refreshments:

 We will have cake, snacks and hot and cold drinks on offer, although no Meal Deal for this event.  If anyone has any cake-making skills, or has a member of the family who does and would like to offer one as their help, please do let the Committee know!   

Withdrawals/Refunds

 

Kindly let one of the Dressage Sub-Committee know if you need to withdraw for any reason. This allows us to re-jig the dressage timings ensures that the remaining competitors, the judge and the helpers are not left with gaps in the schedule.  Withdrawals before the entry closing date and before times are drawn up are eligible for a refund, any withdrawals thereafter will normally require a vet or doctor's certificate.
