Our cross country course is set over 40 acres of beautiful undulating Constable country. Through water and woods, lots of variation and different routes for you to ride.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Bookings in advance. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Stratford Hills Livery Yard and Cross Country.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

£30.00 + £1.50 Booking Fee per Horse (£31.50)

Terms & Conditions

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR CROSS COUNTRY COURSE AT STRATFORD HILLS
PLEASE TAKE CARE
1/ All riders MUST wear protective skull caps in accordance with current riding hat instruction published by British Eventing. Body protectors MUST be worn at all times when on the cross country course. These should be up to the current British Eventing standard, long sleeves are advised and boots with a small heel should be worn.
2/ You should only attempt fences which are within the horse and riders capability and you must be in control of your horse at all times.
3/ All persons using the cross country course should be accompanied. DO NOT USE THE COURSE ALONE. Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
4/ When using the cross country at least one person should carry a mobile telephone for use in an emergency. The following numbers are required to be taken with you (a list of these numbers are provided for you to take)

5/ Please inform a member of staff at the yard of any breakages or damaged/broken fences on your return.
6/ Lockett Farms will not accept any responsibility for loss or damage whilst at this site. All persons ride entirely at their own risk.
7/ All persons using the cross country course are advised to have their own insurance.
8/ There is a public footpath along the main track through the farm. It comes up directly through the cross country course, running alongside the second field of the course & the start/stop field. It then splits, one path turning left at the head of the start/stop field and continuing down the back of that field. The other one continuing on the main track towards the pavilion and livery yard. PLEASE BE AWARE AND WATCH FOR WALKERS AND DOGS
9/ Reporting of accidents. Please advise a member of staff on your return of any accident/near accident/potential accident.
10/ No motor vehicles are allowed on the course without prior permission.
11/ Riders under 13 are not allowed on the course.
12/ Please respect the environment and take all litter home with you.
