These are qualifiers for the Novice Championships on 5th-6th April 2025 at Arena UK 

This competition will run under option 1 in the BRC rulebook - 1 round following straight on to t a jump-off, with all competitors going forward to the jump-off section, unless they are eliminated or gain in excess of 24 jumping faults in the first round

You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Withdrawals/Refunds

 Refunds will only be issued if a withdrawal is received before the closing date of 4 October 2024

Terms & Conditions
  • It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure that they have read the rule book and that both the horse and rider are eligible and comply with the rules. 
  • Riders must be a current paid member at close of prelim entries.
  • All hats must have a visible current BRC/BE/PC hat tag in place before they are worn on the showground, to show that they meet the current safety standards. There will be a trained official available on the day to do this for you if your hat does not currently have one. For up to date hat rules please see the current BRC Handbook.
  • Please ensure that you are willing and able to compete at the Championships prior to entering.
  • All competitors should enter with the expectation they will cover their own championships fees. KRC's reimbursement of these fees will be at the discretion of the committee standing at the time of the Championship.
  • All horses must have valid and up to date flu vacs in accordance of rule G7 of the BRC rulebook; (no boosters within 6 days of competition). If you are unsure, please contact krctamsyn@gmail.com
  • With immediate effect bib numbers will be permitted in all BRC competitions. This will allow competitors to print their own numbers if they do not have bridle numbers for dressage and SJ competitions to save organisers having to provide them.
  • Microchips are compulsory by law from 1 October 2020 in England. You will be required to have your horse microchipped as per the England legislation.
  • Hair must be neatly secured and should not hang lower than the shoulder line when standing normally. Any item of jewellery or alternative medical treatment wrist bands should be covered up by clothing or gloves, if they cannot be removed and are worn at the riders' own risk.
  • A horse may compete at consecutive heights in show jumping.
  • Horses may only compete twice in show jumping classes.  Horses may compete in teams or as an individual in each height.
  • Due to parking there will be no tying up of horses outside lorries and boxes.
  • Objections must be made within 30 mins of the incident and must be accompanied by a £10 deposit, which will be refunded if the objection is sustained.
  • An adult must supervise children at all times
  • Please remove all droppings/hay from the lorry park.
  • The course plan indicating course track, time allowed, time limit and jump off course will be displayed in the collecting ring at least 30 minutes prior to the start of each class.
  • Competitors must enter the arena within one minute of being called to commence their round; failure to do so may incur elimination at the discretion of the judge.
  • Jump off times will be used to determine team placings in the event of a tie
