Show Information

 THIS EVENT IS ONLY FOR EXISTING KRC MEMBERS.

All horses MUST have up to date flu and tetanus vaccinations and be prepared to show their passports upon

request. The Operator runs on the 12-month vaccination rule.

● Horses must be properly secured when in their wagons or trailers. Ensuring the horses welfare is a priority.

● No horse is to be left unattended, or allowed to dig up the lorry park surface.

● No horses are to be tied to buildings, fencing or with hays nets outside of the trailer or horse box in the lorry

parks.

● Horses must only move through areas shared with pedestrians at walk.

● Riding is only permitted in the arena/s. Horses can be mounted in the car park and walk mounted to the

arena.

● Warming up is only permitted in the arena that has been hired. You must not warm up in any other area on

the site.

● Lunging is not permitted in any of the arenas.

Ensure that the gate into the arena is closed at all times and request entry or exit.

● Pass left to left. Give way to riders in a faster pace.

● Arenas, lorry parks and walkways must be poo picked before you leave. Clubs will be fined £30 each club if

any is left behind.

● No Hirer or their clients shall allow a stallion for which they are responsible as owner, lessee, authorised

agent or rider to be on site without taking adequate precautions to ensure no one is put at risk of injury.

Stallions must display a Stallion Disc and wear Stallion Ribbon in their tail.

● All Hirer’s and their clients are deemed responsible and must ensure full compliance with

relevant Health and Safety Policies. The Operator reserves the right to stop any activities which we

consider to be contrary to our Health and Safety Policy or which we consider unsafe.

● Children aged under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (over 18). You are responsible

for each child that you bring to the event and shall ensure each child complies with these Conditions.

● Mucking out of lorries into car and lorry parks is strictly prohibited.

● All litter must be disposed of in the bins provided or taken with you.

● Any accidents or incidents involving the rider, horse and/or spectator must be reported to the Official

Steward immediately.

● Any damage or breakages must be reported to the Official steward immediately

● Smoking is only permitted in the designated area. This also includes E-cigarettes and other forms of vapour

emitting devices.

● Dogs are not permitted in any arenas unless required for disabled assistance (Assistant Dogs Only).

● Where dogs are permitted, they must well-behaved and kept on a short lead at all times.

● They must not be allowed to foul on the property. If this happens then any mess must be cleaned up

immediately.

● You will be asked to remove your dog from the site if they are causing a disturbance.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Your payment includes 50% of the prelim entry which is payable to BRC. 

KRC will re-imburse competitors that element after the event. This is subject to you attending and is capped at two refunded amounts per member. Re-imbursement will be via PayPal to the person making the entry.

DTM Individual Entries BRC Prelim Contribution to be refunded - £10

DTM Pairs Entries BRC Prelim Contribution to be refunded - £13 

Special Classes

In pairs dressage to music the horses and riders will be expected to ride together, side by side, for at least 80% of the test.

Withdrawals/Refunds

The full entry fee for area competitions comprises of the fee to the organising club plus half of the BRC pre entry fee paid directly to Head Office.  Currently KRC pay half of the pre entry fee per entry on behalf of it’s members.  KRC will refund the half pre entry fee paid by members once they have competed at the area competition, capped at a max of 2 entries per rider per qualifier.  The full entry fee including the BRC pre entry fee will not be refunded if the rider withdraws after the closing date of the competition.  The only exception to this is if a replacement can be found.

BHS Stage 4 Coach or above (Qualification not to have been gained within the past 10 years (formally BHSI and above)).  Riders not to have competed under FEI rules in the relevant discipline in the last 5 calendar years.  Rider cannot have competed at BE Novice or Elementary dressage or above in the current or previous calendar year BD or BRC.

Horses cannot have complete in Elementary or above in the current or previous competition year BD or BRC.  No horse may have gained 70% or above in DtM Novice (BD or BRC) in the current or previous calendar year

Senior Novice 0 Points

Unlimited Prelim Points. 0 points at Novice or above

Riders not to have competed under FEI rules in the relevant discipline in the last 5 calendar years.  Rider cannot have competed at BE Novice or Elementary dressage or above in the current or previous calendar year BD or BRC. 

Horses cannot have competed in Elementary or above in the same competition year BD or BRC.  Horse may not compete in Elementary DtM at the same qualifier or Championship.

Junior Novice & Senior Novice with points

Unlimited Novice Points.  Up to 35 Elementary Points.  0 points at Medium or above

Riders not to have competed under FEI rules in the relevant discipline in the last 5 calendar years.

 

Elementary

Unlimited Elementary Points.  Up to 35 Medium Points.  0 points at Adv. Medium or above

Riders not to have competed under FEI rules in the relevant discipline in the last 5 calendar years.

 

 

Medium

Unlimited Medium Points.  Up to 35 Adv. Medium or above

Riders not to have competed under FEI rules in the relevant discipline in the last 5 calendar years.

 

Advanced Medium

Unlimited Adv. Medium Points.  Up to 50 total points at Advanced or above

 

 

Mixed Pairs
