Sunshine Tour Qualifiers 2024
1. The decision of the judge is final. 2. All show jumping classes to be judged as Table A7. If clear round the second round will be against the clock. 3. HARD HATS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHEN MOUNTED and wear the correct dress in all classes. It is compulsory to wear hats conforming to The Pony Club and Riding Club rules and with a current tag for PC members. 4. Body protectors are recommended for show jumping and Working Hunter Classes. 5. The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry or to close any classes and alter the order, timing or composition of this schedule. 6. Dogs to be kept on leads at all times. 7. All ridden horses/ponies must be over the age of 4. No stallions. 8. No horse/pony to enter more than 3 jumping classes. 9. Horses/ponies must not be left unattended at anytime. 10. Horses/ponies must not be tied up to the side of a vehicle with a haynet. 11. Please clear up all droppings and litter before you leave. 12. The organisers reserve the right to cancel the show, alter classes, judges, time or any of the published information. In the event of a cancellation, entry fees will be refunded less a £1.50 non-refundable booking fee. 13. All horses/ponies must be vaccinated against equine influenza which complies with the conditions found on www.pcuk.org/ofcials/health-and-safety/equine-welfare-and-veterinary/. 14. All horses/ponies must have their passports with them. Spot checks will be made 15. All times are approximate and no class will start before the stated time. 16. All ages are on the day of the show. 17. Entry fees will not be funded unless a veterinary or medical certificate is produced before the commencement of the show. 18. Run in accordance with Pony Club Rulebook 2024 https://pcuk.org/ofcials/rulebooks/ 19. This show is a qualifier for The Sunshine Tour Championships held at The All-England Showground, Hickstead from Thursday 12th – Sunday 15th September 2024. The Championships are for unaffiliated and amateur competitors in Dressage from Intro to Elementary, Show Jumping from Lead Rein to 1.0m; Showing for lead rein, in-hand, ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus many more, Eventer’s Challenge from 50cm through to 90cm. Qualification: Dressage & Show Jumping 1st – 3rd place; Showing & Eventers Challenge 1st - 4th place. Qualification does not pass down the line. Registration of qualification must be completed within 1 month of competition (sooner for late July shows). Restrictions apply to both horse and competitor’s previous winnings and amateur status, please check the website for Terms & Conditions. Legal Liability: Save the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organiser of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. 21. Health & Safety: Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, anyone must take all reasonable cautions to avoid or present accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all ofcials and stewards. Competitors who are not members of The Pony Club are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The East Sussex Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you.
