Any competitor that has placed 1st -10th with 58% or more in any of our Unaffiliated Dressage competitions are eligible for the championship competition.

Show Information

Entries close the preceding Thursday at 9am. Late entries will be taken at a £3 charge per class. If classes are full a waiting list will be kept.


Classes will be judged under BD rules. Bridle numbers OR saddle pad numbers must be worn. ONE ON EACH SIDE
Horses may only enter once in each class competitively.
Any objections or complaints MUST be done so through a legitimate complaints procedure. You must place a £10.00 deposit alongside your written complaint. This complaint will then be assessed by the executive committee. If your complaint is found to be legitimate, you will be refunded your £10.00.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Telephone entries will no longer be taken - all entries should be made online at www.solihullridingclub.co.uk/events
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Solihull Riding Club.
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment. Please check your email to confirm payment was successful.

Prize Information

Rosettes to 10th place.
Vouchers 1st – 3rd overall placings. Vouchers can be redeemed against future entry fees, hire of facilities and membership (50% payment in vouchers maximum – please see terms and conditions)

Withdrawals/Refunds

Withdrawals: - In the unfortunate event of withdrawal, please advise the secretary by 9am on the Monday prior to the competition. We regret no refunds will be made once times are issued. No transfers will be made after 9am on the preceding day.

A refund will be given if withdrawn prior to the closing date. Any withdrawals after the closing date and time will NOT be eligible for a refund. All refunds are subject to a 10% admin fee + £1.50 initial booking fee.

You can transfer your entry ONCE if 24 hours notice is given.

In the event that the venue cancels the event, full refunds will be given minus the £1.50 admin fee.

 

In the event that the venue reschedules the event, refunds will be given at the organisers discretion

Terms & Conditions

 

THIS COMPETITION WILL RUN UNDER BRITISH DRESSAGE RULES

 

General rules - The organiser reserves the right to amend the schedule.

HATS - must be worn whenever mounted and should be to the correct current standard.

 

BODY PROTECTORS - Body protectors should be fitted and worn as per the manufacturer’s instructions. If a rider chooses to wear an airbag style body protector it must be worn over a permitted body protector and if activated, must be deflated or removed before continuing. Hybrid Air jackets and Helite Air Jackets are permitted. It is recommended that body protectors are replaced once they are more than 5 years old. Riders wearing Exo Body Cage protectors must inform the secretary at all events.

 

DRESS & FOOTWEAR -  with defined heels must be worn.

 

ALL HORSES & PONIES -  must be four years old and over. ALL Riders to be 4-years old and over.

 

ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The Judge’s decision is final.

 

INSURANCE Each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club, Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD, BE or independent cover.

 

HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Those attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event.

 

Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers.

Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must be always kept on a lead.

 

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY saves for the death or injury caused by the negligence of the organisers of the event, no liability is accepted for any accident, loss or damage, injury or illness to horses, ponies, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever.
