June Show: Qualifiers for Sunshine Tours
This show (JUNE ONLY) is a qualifier for The Sunshine Tour Championships held at The All-England
Showground, Hickstead from Thursday 12th – Sunday 15th September 2024. The Championships
are for unaffiliated and amateur competitors in Dressage from Intro to Elementary, Show Jumping
from Lead Rein to 1.0m; Showing for lead rein, in-hand, ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus
many more, Eventer’s Challenge from 50cm through to 90cm.
Qualification: Dressage & Show Jumping 1st – 3rd place; Showing & Eventers Challenge 1st – 4th
place. Qualification does not pass down the line.
Registration of qualification must be completed within 1 month of competition (sooner for late July
shows). Restrictions apply to both horse and competitor’s previous winnings and amateur status,
please check the website for Terms & Conditions.

1) Neither the Organisers of any events or classes, nor any agent, employee or
representative, accept any responsibility / liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or
illness to horses, owners, riders, handlers, spectators or any other person or persons’
property: whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other way
whatsoever.
2) a) The Organisers reserve the right to change or cancel any event / class / time within the
schedule and the competition without prior notice. In the event of a cancellation during
the show, requests for refunds should be in writing, enclosing a stamped, addressed
envelope.
b) Where classes state an age restriction, this applies to the competitor’s age on the
scheduled date of the show.
3) The judge’s decision is final.
4) All horses entering the show must be vaccinated annually against equine influenza. Spot
checks will be carried out at the show ground on the day, and any horses not vaccinated
will be asked to leave. Please check PSC webpage for vaccination protocols.
5) Hard hats with fastened chinstraps must be worn at ALL TIMES WHEN MOUNTED. It is
recommended that hats are to the current BSI standard.
6) Stallions and colts (2yrs +) must be bitted.
7) Please keep all dogs on leads.
8) Cars and lorries must park in designated areas and / or in accordance with directions give.
9) Objections must be handed to the Secretary in writing within 15 minutes of the incident,
accompanied by a deposit of £5.00, returnable if the objection is sustained.
10) No cantering on the Show Grounds, except in Rings and designated warming‐up areas.
11) Any excessive use of a crop, whip or spurs will result in the rider’s expulsion from that
class without any refunds. NO SCHOOLING WHIPS ALLOWED IN ANY CLASS (EXCEPT
DRESSAGE).
12) All ridden horses must be 4 years old or over.
13) It is recommended that body protectors are worn in all jumping classes.
IMPORTANT NOTE: WATER IS NOT AVAILABLE ON THE SHOWGROUND
