NB Intro class: Riders are not permitted in this section if they are a FBHS, BHSI, BHSII or BD Groups 1-6. The rider cannot have competed at BE100 or above during the last 3 years. Horses cannot have competed at Novice or above in BD or BRC. The horse can have unlimited BD points at Prelim but 0 points at BD Novice. Should any of these apply the rider can go H/C in the Intro
DRESS Everyone mounted must wear a hard hat conforming to current standards with the harness properly adjusted and fastened.

Points awarded to HDRC Members for 2023 Dressage Series

This show is a qualifier for The Sunshine Tour Championships held at The All-England Showground, Hickstead from Thursday 12th – Sunday 15th September 2024. The Championships are for unaffiliated and amateur competitors in Dressage from Intro to Elementary, Show Jumping from Lead Rein to 1.05m; Showing for lead rein, in-hand, ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus many more, Eventer’s Challenge from 50cm through to 90cm. Qualification: Dressage & Show Jumping 1st – 3rd place; Showing & Eventers Challenge 1st – 4th place. Qualification does not pass down the line. ORGANISER’S RIGHTS: The organisers reserve the right to alter, change, cancel and / or amalgamate classes or refuse entry without stating a reason. The judge’s /organiser’s decision is final. All competitors must abide by the steward’s instruction. Any persons riding or acting in a dangerous or inconsiderate manner or misusing whip or spurs may be asked to leave the showground and may be banned from future shows.

RULES Classes will be run under the relevant equestrian body rules i.e. British Dressage/British Riding Clubs and the British Horse Society. In the case of BD these are available from the BD office at Stoneleigh, Warwickshire CV8 2LR

NO lunging in sand school practice arena. Remember to clear all droppings from the car park before departure. Please be considerate to others when parking.

WARM UP – Out door arena Enter at lorry park end and leave at far end. Maximum 6 horses

NO haynets are to be tied up outside your lorry/trailer and NO horses are to be left tied up outside.

DOGS are welcome but must be kept on leads and under control at all times. Please pick up their poos! No dogs in the indoor school or gallery
