Rider/Owner Rules 1 All riders must be of a suitable age and size for the horse or pony they ride 2 All riders must comply with current safety regulations and dress code 3 All riders must wear a riding hat to the latest BSI standard 4 The judge’s decision will be final including all places in all classes. Objections must be made in writing to the show jumping secretary accompanied by a £10 deposit within one hour of the alleged incident taking place. Should the objection be deemed to be frivolous or unfounded, the deposit shall be forfeited. 5 Horses and ponies entered at the owners/riders risk and neither the organisers or landowners accept any liability of any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses/ponies, owners, riders, grooms, spectators, or vehicles whether caused by their negligence in any way whatsoever. 6 The society reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who is not complying with the rules. 7 All champions from the championship classes shall take part in the Grand Parade 8 The horse secretary reserves the right to promptly alter any ring/class without stating a reason. 9 The Committee have a Zero Tolerance Policy towards abusive language and behaviour. This will result in being escorted from the show ground should this situation arise. HAT RULE When jumping in the ring, the practice areas or collecting areas, all riders/handlers must wear protective headgear, according to current standards as listed below: All PAS 015;V; VG1;BS EN 1384 2017;ASTMF1163 04a onwards; SNELL E2001;SNELLE2016; AS/NZS 3838 2003 onwards Skullcaps must be of, or worn with a dark coloured plain peaked cover. Correctly secured Skull caps/Riding hats that meet all of the above-mentioned current Safety standards/Specification MUST be worn by all riders. All exhibitors will receive the following show ground passes for the day: 1 Horse- Horse Exhibitor tickets admit 2 2 Plus horses-Horse exhibitor tickets admits 3 Occupants of any vehicle not carrying/pulling a horse and competing will be asked to pay the full show admission costs. DATA PROTECTION The data provided by you to Fillongley Agricultural Society will be stored securely with access limited to designated officers of the Society. You have the right to see, amend or have destroyed your data on request. All details are used specifically for the administration of the class entries (some of which are required by law) and will not be transferred to any other party without the written agreement consent of the individual concerned, in accordance with GDPR guidelines. IMPORTANT: Equine Flu Bio-security: Booster vaccinations must be administered at a maximum of 12-month intervals and Horses competing in Events must have received a booster within the previous 12 months, provided it was not administered within 7 days of the horses’ arrival at the Event.
