COMPETITOR INFORMATION AND COVID REGULATIONS:
All competitor information will be condensed into an information sheet and
emailed to every competitor alongside competitor times, no later than 18:00
on 28th April. In the event of cancellation £5 per entry will be held in
administrative charges.
MEDICAL ARMBANDS:
It is the competitor’s responsibility to wear a PC/BE medical armband during the
cross-country phase if they have a medical condition that may impact on their care in
the case of an emergency. Conditions that are relevant includes serious past
injuries/surgery, chronic health problems such as diabetes, long-term medication and
allergies. If in doubt competitors should consult with their own treating physician.
Cards must contain the competitor’s details where indicated and must be worn on the
competitor’s arm or shoulder in such a way as to be visible at all times. It is not
compulsory for competitors without any medical conditions to wear a medical
armband providing there is an adult supporter with them.NUMBERS MUST BE PRE-PRINTED
Competitors must pre-print their numbers prior to the competition. This
information along with a number template will be made available by
18:00 on 28/4/2023. There will be no facilities onsite to print numbers.
Competitors must wear a number bib to clearly display their number,
front and back. There will be a limited number of bibs available for
purchase, this can be bought alongside your entry via My Riding Life for a
fee of £10.
LONG HAIR
In the interest of safety, long hair must be secured appropriately in a
hairnet. Hair must not obscure the competitor’s number at any time

All entries made via MyRidingLife. Entries will close at midnight on 27th April, or once classes are full. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Mid Surrey Pony Club. You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

SUNSHINE TOUR QUALIFIER INFORMATION:
This show is a qualifier for The Sunshine Tour Championships held at The All England
Jumping Course, Hickstead from Thursday 14th – Sunday 17th September 2023. The
Championships are for unaffiliated and amateur competitors in Dressage from Intro to
Elementary, Show Jumping from Lead Rein to 1.05m; Showing for lead rein, in-hand,
ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus many more, Eventer’s Challenge from 50cm
through to 1m.
Qualification: 1st – 6th place. Qualification does not pass down the line.
Bring your own Qualification Form available from www.sunshinetour.co.uk or ask the
Secretary if they have any spares available.

Entries will not be refunded without a doctor’s or veterinary certificate.
1. This competition will only be held if ground conditions permit. Please ring the Secretary if in doubt. £5 to be
retained for administration in the event of cancellation.
2. No stop watches are allowed. Riders must proceed directly from the last fence to the finish.
3. No Horse/Pony to be ridden more than once in each class.
4. The judge’s decision is final.
5. The event organisers and their servants shall not be liable for any claim in respect of damage to any Person,
Horse, Pony or Property however caused.
6. Objections must be made in writing to the Secretary within 10 minutes of the close of the event and must be
accompanied by a deposit of £20 which will be returned if the objection is sustained.
7.In the event of withdrawal made before the closing date entry fee will be refunded less £5.00 admin fee.
Withdrawals made after the closing date will be able to reclaim entry fee less £5.00 admin fee only on
production of Vet or Doctor’s certificate.
8. Hard hats all with BSI kite mark, to present standard, These must be worn AT ALL TIMES when mounted with
chin straps done up. PC members must wear a hat to the current PC standard (without a peak) and it MUST be
tagged.
9. HEALTH & SAFETY: The Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and
safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions
to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and
stewards.
10. All competitors must wear a medical armband and a body protector. Competitors using body protectors
using a key, must log that key with the event Secretary on the day.
11. All dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
12. The right of admission is reserved.
13 Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they
are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event nor The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or
representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss,
damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any
other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way
whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable
precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be
effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to The Pony Club Handbook 2023 to avoid and prevent
accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards. Competitors who are
not members of The Pony Club are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party
cover. The Mid Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for
non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.
