LUCINDA GREEN TWO DAY SUCCEED XC MASTERCLASS PARTICIPANTS’ REQUIREMENTS 1. The first day, we will be using poles, stands and oddities to study XC technique 2. The second day, we will be out on XC, consolidating; 3. There will be no dressage work on either day; 4. Please be warmed up by your lesson time, but no jumping; 5. You and you horse need to come fully equipped for XC on both days. Please bring the following equipment: • Ear pieces/buds to link into my sound system whilst riding. NOT Bluetooth. Spares are available if you have none. • Skull cap (with harness that fits); • Body Protector (optional on day one); • Non-leather gloves (if worn), leather can slip from sweat or rain; • Jumping whip (a must) • Spurs - please bring with you to the lesson - don't wear them unless you usually do; • Running Martingale – do not attach to reins if not normally worn – leave knotted under the neck – and remember stops on your reins. • Make extra holes in your stirrup leathers 6. We don't want to waste time searching for tack, etc. if we need to experiment. Please bring any other bits that you might need to try out to the actual lesson. 7. I will bring copies of my XC Training DVD £20 (cash) on the day and if you would like, I will sign as required. I am sorry if this sounds rather bossy. £190.00 per rider non-members for the two days £160.00 per rider members for the two days
Refunds: No refunds or transfers will given unless a minimum of 48 hours notice is given.
HATS must be worn whenever mounted ONLY Jockey skull hats without a peak (greater than 5mm smooth and rounded in nature) may be worn for cross country. Hat silks may be worn with flexible peak. It must also comply with the above safety standards for hats. BODY PROTECTORS A body protector is obligatory for all arena eventing and cross-country events and are also strongly recommended for all show jumping events. Body protectors should be fitted and worn as per the manufacturer’s instructions. If a rider chooses to wear an airbag style body protector it must be worn over a permitted body protector and if activated, must be deflated or removed before continuing. Hybrid Air jackets and Helite Air Jackets are permitted. It is recommended that body protectors are replaced once they are more than 5 years old. Riders wearing Exo Body Cage protectors must inform the secretary at all events. CORRECT dress & footwear with defined heels must be worn. ALL horses and ponies must be 4 years old and over. ALL Riders to be 4 years old and over. ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The Judge’s decision is final. INSURANCE Each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club, Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD, BE or independent cover. HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Those attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers. Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
