All classes will run as a Single Phase Competition
The Single Phase competition will be run as a BSJA Single Phase Competition, a course in two parts with the second part
timed. All will jump against the clock immediately after the first part, even with faults, unless eliminated. Exception to BSJA rules is that it is 3 refusals before elimination.
Rules for Team Show Jumping
1. Teams to consist of three or four members of the same Branch of the Pony Club. Best three scores will count.
2. No combination of horse/pony and rider may enter in more than one team and no competitor may ride two horses in the same team. No horse may compete in more than one team No horse may compete twice in the same class
3. All team members are automatically entered for the individual competition
4. Branches will be sent a list of their entered competitors to organise teams.
PDG Photography will be the photographer on site and First Aid will be in attendance.

Payment is secure and it goes directly to East Sussex Pony Club.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

1.All attendees must follow current COVID law and guidelines set out by the government.
2. Organisers reserve the right to cancel, amend or add to the classes as they see fit.
3. The judge's decision is final.
4. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. 5. Organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
6. Any competitor lodging an objection must do so in writing & deposit the sum of £10 with the Secretary within 10 minutes of the Class having been judged and in the event of the objection not being upheld will forfeit the deposit.
7. The Organisers reserve the right to vary the order of the composition of the schedule according to circumstances if necessary
8. No entry fees will be returned without a vet's or doctor's certificate presented within 7 days of the show
9. No horse or pony under 5 years old to be entered
10. In the case of cancellation due to bad weather/unforeseen circumstances £5.00 will be kept from each entrant for administrative costs.
11. No entries will be accepted without remittance
12. All classes will be run under 2022 Pony Club Rules - see website. In the interest of safety, hair must be secured appropriately in a hair net. Riders must be correctly dressed for unmounted prize giving.
13. Entries to reach Secretary by Monday 14th November. Entries will be limited.
14.The warm up area is strictly limited to the next 8 competing horses.
15. ALL VEHICLES MUST BE PARKED AS AND WHERE INSTRUCTED BY ATTENDANTS
16. Horses must not be left unattended whilst tied up to your lorry/trailer.
17. Please clear up all droppings, hay and litter. NO HAYNETS OR HAYBAGS TO BE TIED OUTSIDE OF VEHICLES
18. Your signature on the entry form, or payment of an entry fee, shall be deemed to be an acceptance of the above rules and conditions.
19. Unmounted prize giving for every class.
20. Horses / ponies can only be ridden on site by the rider competing them.
21. All dogs must be on short leads. No dogs are allowed in the café, warm up or holding areas.
