SPRING QUALIFIER CLASSES – This is a Preliminary Round for the Show Jumping Spring Festival to enable competitors to qualify for their Area Competition which will be held in March. Those who were successful at their Area Competition will go forward to the Championships on 11th & 12th February 2023 at Arena UK.
1. Teams to consist of 3 or 4 members of the same Branch of the Pony Club. Sorry, no school teams. 2. All horse/rider combinations can only compete in one team – but they can compete as individuals at other levels. Riders if required may compete at another level or in a different team on a different horse/pony. 3. All attendees must follow current COVID law and guidelines set out by the government. 4. Organisers reserve the right to cancel, amend or add to the classes as they see fit. 5. The judge's decision is final. 6. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. 7. Organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards. 8. Any competitor lodging an objection must do so in writing & deposit the sum of £10 with the Secretary within 10 minutes of the Class having been judged and in the event of the objection not being upheld will forfeit the deposit. 9. Late entries will be accepted on the day at £2 extra if space permits. However, as entries for some classes may need to be restricted, early entry is recommended. 10. The Organisers reserve the right to vary the order of the composition of the schedule according to circumstances if necessary 11. No entry fees will be returned without a vet's or doctor's certificate presented within 7 days of the show 12. No horse or pony under 5 years old to be entered 13. In the case of cancellation due to bad weather/unforeseen circumstances £5.00 will be kept from each entrant for administrative costs. 14. No entries will be accepted without remittance 15. All classes will be run under 2022 Pony Club Rules - see website. In the interest of safety, hair must be secured appropriately in a hair net. Riders must be correctly dressed for unmounted prize giving.
