Entries in advance using our Secure Online Entry System. Payment is secure and it goes directly to Emberton & District Riding Club. You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Each highest placed EDRC member in every class will receive a Members Rosette. Members will gain points towards an end of year championship prize to be awarded at the AGM. Rosettes are awarded 1st -6th places and special rosettes to 10th
The Dodson & Horrell Equine Sports UK Grassroots Championships 28th - 31st July 2022 “This show is affiliated to Equine Sports UK (ESUK) Grassroots Championships taking place at Arena UK, Grantham, Lincolnshire on the 28 th July – 31st July 2022. The three highest placed exhibits will qualify in each class” This show is a qualifier for the TSR NAF Five Star Showing Finals. All In Hand & Ridden classes are qualifiers. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals! The 4 highest placed handlers/riders will qualify in each class. Competitors MUST have their qualification record sheet signed by judge/steward/secretary, record sheets are available FREE from the TSR website. Full details at https://www.theshowingregister.co.uk/
1. All instructions from show officials and stewards must be obeyed – these rules are not exhaustive! 2. The Judge’s decision is final 3. Any objections must be made to the Secretary in writing within 15 minutes of the incident. A £10 deposit will be taken and returned if the objection is upheld 4. The organisers reserve the right to cancel or alter any class without prior notice 5. No entry money will be refunded 6. The landowners and organisers are not responsible for any loss or damage to persons, animals, vehicles or property 7. No galloping on the show field. Please use designated warm up area 8. All riders must wear protective headgear that includes a permanently fitted, non-detachable retaining harness that must be securely fastened. Hats must comply with the PAS 015:1998 or 2011 with BSI Kitemark,VG1 with BSI Kitemark, Snell E2001with the official Snell label and number,ASTM-F1163 2004a with the SEI mark, AS/NZS 3838 1998,2003 or 2006. Hard hats must also be worn by all exhibitors 14 years and under in all in hand classes. Suitable heeled riding footwear must be worn whilst mounted. 9. Entire males over 1 years of age must be bitted and kept under control at all times. They must not be shown by children under 14 years of age. 10. No horse or pony under four years or age may be ridden in the show field. 11. Riders/handlers age as of 1st January 2022. 12. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times. 13. Please dispose of all litter safely. The field is used for grazing. 14. Riders who have competed in the Lead Rein Class may also enter the First Ridden Class in order for them to gain the confidence to go it alone. 15. Classes 11 & 20 Ponies entered into the Mountain and Moorland classes must be shown in their natural state. Partbreds may be plaited. 16. If you arrive for your class late and it has already started then it is the judge’s decision if you can enter the class. If you are not permitted to enter the class then you are not entitled to a refund. 17. Riders/Handlers must be over 5 years of age. 18. ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE PLEASE NOTE: Entry for classes will close during the prize giving of the previous class.
