Bishop Burton has 3 indoor and 4 outdoor arenas, of which the competition could take place in any arena. Hospitality will be avaiable and well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Queries to equine@bishopburton.ac.uk

Entries in advance. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Bishop Burton College.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
Stabling Information: Yes
Onsite Stabling avaiable. Please book with entries. Bedmax Shavings (£8.50) and Haylage small bales (8.50) avaiable to pre-order. Will be allocated to your stable for your arrival. Stables are avaiable from 3pm to 3pm the following day. Please make sure you vacate your stable on time and leave it tidy for the next person.
Hot and cold refreshments available throught the day.
COVID-19 - Keepign you safe!
Clients must NOT attend Bishop Burton College if they:
• Have been instructed to self-isolate by NHS 111 or NHS Tract & Trace
• Are in a household that is self-isolating
• Have shown any of the following symptoms in the last 14 days:
o A new continuous cough
o An elevated temperature/fever above 37.8c
o A loss of smell or taste
• Have come into contact with anyone with a confirmed case of Covid-19 without wearing appropriate medical-grade PPE.
Rules and Conditions
• To be run in accordance with British Dressage Rules
• All competitors are required to wear headgear that complies with the highest current safety standard.
• Bishop Burton College has a number of indoor and outdoor arenas which will be used for these competitions.
• Horses and Ponies MUST NOT be tied to the side of horseboxes or trailers and left unattended – please clear up any mess left by you or your horses
Conditions of Entry
Payments must be contactless and in advance of booking.
Social distancing must be maintained at all times.
Please ensure a distance of 6 metres between all vehicles.
There will be hand sanitiser at the gate into the arena, which must be used when entering and exiting the arena.
Up to 6 people can attend per hire session, but from no more than 2 separate households and social distancing must be maintained at all times.
Spectators may not be permitted - please check the guidance on the college webiste and the social media platfoms.
Please ensure you wear gloves when handling any equipment and sanitise hands regularly throughout.
Toilets will be available, but we ask wherever possible please use your own facilities, if you have them.
Equine Influenza Vaccinations: Primary vaccinations with an in-date 12-month booster. Spot checks will be carried out.
Bishop Burton College can only offer its facilities for hire on the understanding that these measures are adhered to. Bishop Burton College does not accept any responsibility or liability for any injury, accident, damage or illness to any person, property or animal whatsoever, or for any loss whatsoever, arising out of, or occurring at any competition, show, hire or event. It shall be a condition of entry/hire of the Centre that each entrant shall indemnify the organisers against any legal action whatsoever arising from any accident.
