Dressage & Jumping phases to be held at the Pony Club Field XC phase to be held at Mont Cochon Farm Horses/ponies: May only compete once with one rider and members may enter no more than two ponies. Horses/ponies: to be plaited, snaffle Bridles only and no martingales for the dressage phase. Usual tack rules apply for other phases. Please contact Louisa Bonney if you are unsure about your tack (07797 821695) Dress Code: · Jacket, shirt & tie for dressage and showjumping. · XC colours permitted for XC phase. · Skull caps, body protectors and neck straps/martingales are compulsory for the XC phase. · No jewellery is allowed (other than medical jewellery and a wristwatch) · If the rider has a medical condition that may impact on their care in case of an emergency, a medical armband must be worn for the XC phase. Dressage test calling: All competitors except Seniors (those born in or before 2006) may have their tests called. Course Walk: The XC course will be ready to walk from 3pm on Saturday 10 October.

Bookings and payment in advance only. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System Payment is secure and it goes directly to Jersey Drag Hunt Branch Of The Pony Club. You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
Entries: to be made via My Riding Life by 2 October 2020 - cost £20. No late entries.
COVID 19 Implications – At this time due to government restrictions we are only allowed 40 people on site at one time. Each child may have ONE helper. Please also understand things may change, we are doing our best to provide an event within the guidelines. Please read below COVID rules.
DISCLAIMER 1) Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. 2) The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards. 3) All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Jersey Drag Hunt Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.
COVID 19 RULES In order to comply with Pony Club Head Office UK, insurance and Jersey Government (Sports) you must comply with the following rules in addition to our standard rules and conditions. It is important that you read them and follow them or the committee may be obliged to ask you to leave and potentially report you. In addition, there will be a register which must be completed by all those who enter the show ground so that if someone was to contract the virus Public Health can be informed of any potentials at risk.
1. Entries must be made and paid via My Riding Life. In order to monitor risk, heights entered will be checked and at the discretion of the committee. 2. Each competitor should only have one helper, preferably from the same household. Please leave non-competing siblings (and dogs) behind. 3. Please arrive and be tacked up and on 15 minutes before your lesson and be untacked loaded and gone promptly after you finish. 4. Please use the sanitiser by the entrance gate BEFORE you touch the gate to open/close it. 5. Please park at a minimum of 5m apart. If parking becomes congested, we will do our best to move things around. 6. Please tack up and mount at your lorry. 7. Once mounted please wait until the instructor opens the gate. Please remember to stay 1m apart. 8. There will be a tack check conducted at a safe distance. If you are a non-equestrian parent needing help, please let a Committee member know and you will be helped by someone in PPE. 9. Helpers must watch from a distance of at least 1m from each other and outside the arena. 10. If we have a faller the first aider will attend to the rider using their mask and gloves. The child’s helper will retrieve the pony and remain at a safe distance. 11. Please do not go into the arena to help with jumps unless asked and, if asked, please wear gloves.
These Covid guidelines are largely common sense and have been in place for a number of weeks but all present must follow the guidelines. Please use the sanitisers available and keep your distances from each other.
