Option to jump 1.10m joker fence with a bonus of 25 points if cleared but the deduction of 25 points from total score if knocked down. Winner is combination with maximum points in fastest time.

Show Information

A weekend of showjumping open to Pony Club membersand non Pony Club members ( classes 8 and 10 only) including Pony Club Spring Festival 2021 qualifiers. 

All classes will be drawn order with rider start times - no entries on the day.

Riders must comply with PC Showjumping Rules 2020 including hats and body protectors.

Horses / ponies must be correctly vaccinated for equine influenza in the last 12 months and not renewed within the preceding 7 days of the competition.  Please remember to bring equine passports as there will be spot checks.

Entries in advance. You can enter using a Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Eridge Pony Club. 
You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Special Classes

The top four combinations in classes 8 and 10 will qualify for the Area 11 Pony Club Spring Faestival Area Final, subject to jumping clear in the first round.  

Refreshments:
The Petley Wood cafe will be open for takeaway food and drinks only subject to Covid-19 guidelines in place at the date of the event

Withdrawals/Refunds

 Refunds will only be given on receipt of a valid Veterinary or Doctor's Certificate

In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control £5 per competitor will be withheld to cover costs.

Terms & Conditions

 FORMAT OF COMPETITION

All classes except classes 8, 10 and 11 will be run as Single Phase - jump first section of course and immediately continue into timed jump off section of course.  Total faults will accumulated over both sections of the course  

RULES

1 The competition is run under the Pony Club Showjumping Rules 2020.  The Judge's decision is final

2 The Organisers reserve the right to refuse an entry, restrict entries and make alterations to entries it they deem necessary.

3 Hats must be worn,compliant with PC Hat Rules 2020,  with chin strap fastened at all times when mounted. Body protectors are optional.  

4 No jewellery/ piercings to be worn

5 Please park as directed by stewards, no cars in lorry park.  No unattended horses to be left tied to trailers/lorries. Please clear up all hay/droppings/litter and do not muck out into lorry park. 

6 No dogs allowed

7 Only 4 horses in warm up arena at any one time - subject to Covid-19 guidelines at date of show

8 Health & Safety - the Organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present.  For these measures to be effective everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.  Rules relating to Covid-19 requirements in force at the date of the show will be issued to all competitors when times are available.  Compliance with Covid-19 rules is mandatry and failure to comply will result in the competitor and persons attending with being asked to leave the showground immediately without taking any further part in the event.

9 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY - Legal Liability - save for the death or personal injury caused by negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are, in law, responsible neither the organisers, the Pony Club, any agent, employee or representative of these bodies nor Petley Wood EC and its representatives accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage,injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories or any other person or property whatsoever whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever
