RULES AND CONDITIONS 1. Box and trailer parking is in the field opposite Snowball Farm. There is ample parking. Please do not park in the Riding School Car Park. 2. Correctly fitting hard hat manufactured to one of the minimum current standards: (PAS 015 (1998 or 2011) with a kitemark, VG1 with a kitemark, ASTM F1163: 2004 onwards with a SEI mark, SNELL E2001 or E2016 with a SNELL label and number, AS/NZS 3838, from 2006 onwards) with a three-point linkage properly adjusted and fastened must be worn by all riders, whether competing or not, at all times whilst mounted at Snowball Farm. 3. No stallions except by permission and no horses under 5 years of age. 4. Warm-Up Areas: no-one on foot allowed in warm-up areas. No lungeing/leading in all-weather warm-up arena. Competitors must leave the warm-up areas immediately if asked to do so by a steward/official. Additional warm up to the rear of Trailer/Lorry park. 5. The organisers will not be held responsible for any accident, loss or injury to any person or their property however this may be caused. 6. Dressage will be run in accordance to the current British Dressage Rule Book. 7. Quest Classes: All Riders must have a minimum of a Quest Club membership or any other paid up British Dressage membership. All horses must have a minimum of Associate Horse Registration – this can be done online. Quest classes are run under British Dressage rules with regard to tack, but riders may wear Team colours. Riders may compete in any region; their points will be given to their own Regional Leader Board. 8. Quest Teams: minimum 3 members, maximum 4. Team name must be registered with BD and have a nominated Team captain. A Team may only be represented once per competition day. 9. Unaffiliated classes: BD registered horse and rider combinations must ride H/C in unaffiliated classes. 10. Entries close 5pm on the Wednesday before the competition, after which late entries, if space is available, are £2.50 extra per Class. Incomplete entries will not be counted.
We cannot guarantee a place in the competition before the close of entry, but there will be a waiting list.  Entries will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis.  Please indicate in your entry if you do not wish to be placed on the Waiting List.
The secretary must be notified of any change of horse or rider at least 20 minutes before the start of the class or the entry will become void.  Change of horse and rider is not allowed.
Those who withdraw in writing before the closing date will have their entry fee, less an administration fee of £4 per Class refunded.  Entry fees in any other circumstances will not be refunded unless a class is cancelled due to insufficient entries.  Charges for entering online will be not refunded in any circumstances.
CHEQUES - Competitors whose cheque is not honored by the Bank for ANY REASON, will incur a fee of £7 which must be paid before any future entries are accepted.
