Entries close 5pm Wednesday 30th May OR when classes are full
Branch team managers will then be emailed their member entries so team lists can be sent via email to the secretary by 9pm Friday 1st June
Waiting lists will be held by the secretary once classes are full

CLASS 3:
Section A: Individuals & Teams 12 years and under on 1.1.18 Teams of two or three members (top two scores count)
Section B: Open to individuals only not eligible above.
Combinations in sections A&B not to have been placed at PC/BE 80cm or above.
Competitors may be assisted in all three disciplines but not lead
Rosettes for all double clears not placed

East Sussex Pony Club Entrants are kindly requested to provide at least one responsible person (18years and over) who is willing to act as a steward or jump judge for at least one class. No experience is necessary as help and instruction will be given. Please email ASAP helpers name, email and telephone number to Clare on marknclare@gmail.com stating preferred time/class available. A huge thank you in anticipation.

Payment is secure and it goes directly to East Sussex Pony Club.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
ENTRY FEES – to include first aid cover:
Class 1 PC90 & 2 PC80 = £38 per rider (ESPC member £33)
Class 3 PC70 = £30 per rider (ESPC member £25)
Class 4 PC55 = £25 per rider (ESPC member £20)

Prize Information
Individual rosettes to 6th place in all classes
Best Dressage rosette in each arena in all classes
Team rosettes to 6th place
Double Clear rosettes for riders not placed in class 3
Rosettes for all clear rounds in class 4
Cups for highest placed ESPC member in each class

Terms & Conditions
Your entry is deemed to include acceptance of these rules & conditions Health & Safety - Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
1. All classes to will be run under Pony Club 2018 rules for Eventing available from www.pcuk.org
2. No combination may enter more than one class. No competitor may enter more than two horses. Sorry we can only accommodate second horses in the same class if timings permit.
3. Ponies/horses may only compete once.
4. The cross-country phase in Class 1 will be timed. In cases of equal scores, penalties from the dressage phase will be used to differentiate competitors' scores.
5. The decision of the judges is final. Objections to be lodged at the Secretary's tent in writing within 30 minutes, together with a deposit of £10.00. Objections only to be made by an Official Representative of PC Branch. No video/phone evidence will be considered.
6. Entry fees will not be refunded without a doctor or vets certificate which must be received no later than 7 days after the event.
7. In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control £5 per competitor may be withheld.
8. All hay and droppings around vehicles to be cleared up and taken home please - no mucking out of trailers or horse lorries. No litter to be left please.
9. Montague is a working farm, NO dogs please.
10. The course may be walked on Saturday 9th June from 2-6pm.
11. £5 deposit required for numbered tabards in all classes – no change given.
12. Correct riding attire as per Pony Club 2018 rules for Eventing must be worn. In the interest of safety the organisers reserve the right to eliminate (without refund) any competitor in breach of these rules.
13. Body Protectors are compulsory for the XC phase. Body Protectors must meet the BETA 2009 Level 3 standard (purple label)
14. If you have a body protector requiring special tools, the secretary MUST be informed and a labelled spare left with the secretary.
15. If an air jacket is worn it must have an approved body protector underneath.
16. Medical armbands are advisor for the XC phase.
17. Hats must conform to Pony Club 2018 standards with. Chin straps must be fastened at all times when mounted and be sufficiently tight. Any hat incorrectly/not tagged must be checked by the SECRETARY at the time your number is collected. Tack Inspectors will NOT check hat conformity simply that they are correctly tagged, riders will be sent back to the secretary.
18. Misuse of the whip, spurs, blatant bad language or unsporting behaviour will incur immediate elimination.
19. Absolutely no Spurs allowed in Class 3 and 4
20. No jewellery to be worn.
21. No head cameras allowed
22. If eliminated in the show jumping phase Class 3 and 4 you will only be allowed to go cross country if the combination is considered safe by the show jumping judges. Class 1& 2 will NOT be permitted to go XC

PLEASE REPORT TO ARENA TACK INSPECTION STEWARD 20 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR DRESSAGE TEST
PLEASE BE AT THE START OF EACH JUMPING PHASE AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR TIME

Legal Liability - Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
